One of the biggest fears of any parent is locking their young child inside a vehicle by mistake. If, unfortunately, this situation occurs, the most common way people deal with it is by breaking the window and getting inside the vehicle. However, sometimes parents guide their children and help them in unlocking their vehicle. Recently, a video has become viral in which one such smart kid was seen unlocking a Hyundai Creta while being inside alone.

Kid unlocks the car after getting stuck

This video, showing the kid managing to unlock the car, has been shared on Instagram by Riyaz Malik on their page. It starts off with a very young kid, around the age of 2–3 years, standing on the driver’s seat of a Hyundai Creta. This kid was alone inside the car, and the ignition of the car was turned off.

We can note that soon after this, the kid turned on the ignition by pressing the engine start/stop button on the left side of the steering column. During this, family members of this kid were guiding him from the outside to unlock the doors. There was a person outside the driver-side door who was asking the kid to press the unlock button on the driver door panel.

However, the kid stopped doing anything and stood still for a while. He then started going towards the engine start/stop button. The father at this time asked him not to press that button. But the kid still pressed the start/stop button, which unlocked the vehicle.

Soon after this, they all opened the doors of the car and started appreciating the kid. The thing to note about this video is that all of the people outside the vehicle were very calm, and they did not panic a lot.

Never leave kids inside the car alone

It goes without saying that any parent should never leave their children inside the vehicle alone, even if they think that they will not take much time to return. No kid should be left in a vehicle alone at any point in time. Recently, a case was reported from Tirumala, Andhra Pradesh, where an uncle left two kids inside his Toyota Innova, which resulted in the kids running out of breath.

What happened was that two young children—Bhanu, aged 7, and Neela, aged 4—were left inside a Toyota Innova by their parental uncle, Gangayya. He accidentally locked the vehicle and walked away from it. What made the situation worse was that no windows were open, and the air conditioning was also turned off.

It was also reported that the mother of these children, Sumalatha, was also not present near the car as she was walking towards the temple. As a result of this negligence, both kids, when they were found by the people passing, were seen gasping for air. Just after this, the Tirumala Traffic Police was called to the spot, and with the help of these taxi drivers, the Traffic Police personnel broke a window of the car and immediately unlocked it.

After the kids were rescued, they were given water and juice to stabilize their condition and were taken to Ashwini Hospital for medical attention. It was then reported that both kids were fine. Following this, Traffic Home Guard Jayachandra and PSG Venkatesh, who rescued these kids, filed a negligence complaint against Gangayya.
