Road Rage: Woman Influencer 'Bikaner Ki Sherni' Dragged Out Of Mahindra Scorpio And Beaten Up [Video]

Social media influencer Monika Rajpurohit, popularly known as “Bikaner ki Sherni”, was violently assaulted on a roadside near Jodhpur, according to multiple videos that have gone viral in recent days.
The visuals show her being dragged out of an SUV and beaten, sparking outrage and speculation over what led to the confrontation. Police at the Airport Police Station have registered a case and launched an investigation, but the exact cause of the fight has not been confirmed.
In the widely shared clip, a man is seen pulling Monika out of her Scorpio SUV and pushing her to the ground. He tries to hit her with a stick while others surround the vehicle, some attempting to restrain him. Monika’s mother is also visible in the frame as bystanders intervene.
The video also shows her being dragged near the SUV, with angry voices in the background and scuffles breaking out between groups. The video later shifts focus to a separate Maruti Eeco car parked nearby, showing one of its windows damaged, apparently broken with a stick. This detail has become central to claims circulating online that the influencer or her team struck the vehicle before the assault began.
Monika, in her own statement, has offered a different explanation. She says she and her mother were returning from a show when a car without license plates began tailing them. According to her, the occupants - a woman and several men - forced them to stop, dragged her out, and physically attacked both her and her mother. She alleges that they broke her mangalsutra and hurled abusive remarks during the confrontation.
Other accounts suggest a very different sequence of events. Some local reports claim the fight began after Monika’s Scorpio collided with another car on the road, although this has not been confirmed by the police.
On social media, several users insist that Monika or her associates damaged the Maruti Eeco car’s glass and verbally abused its driver, provoking locals to retaliate. None of these claims are supported by full video evidence, as the clips that have surfaced only capture the assault itself and not what triggered it.
Monika Rajpurohit, who is in her early twenties, has been a well-known figure in Rajasthan’s influencer circles. Based in Bikaner’s Bajrangpuri Vallabh Garden, she has built a following of more than 1.3 million on Instagram under the persona “Bikaner ki Sherni,” projecting a bold and outspoken image through her reels.
She has, however, been surrounded by controversy before. In 2024, she faced a police raid after a video of her allegedly consuming opium went viral, leading to the recovery of 200 grams of poppy husk and a short spell in custody before being released on bail.
Her phone was also seized in connection with allegations of blackmail, and other cases involving assault, intimidation, and attempted kidnapping have been linked to her name, though not all reached trial.
The latest assault adds to this complicated profile, though investigators are cautious not to draw premature conclusions. Police say they are reviewing all available video evidence and collecting witness statements.
For now, what is indisputable is that the influencer was dragged and beaten in public. The reasons why the violence erupted - whether it was an unprovoked attack as she claims, the result of a road accident, or retaliation to provocation - remain unclear and under official inquiry.
