Salman Khan's Brother Just Bought His Own Superbike Racing Team

There are a number of Bollywood celebrities who are obsessed with superbikes. However, there is no one except one actor who currently owns not just a superbike but an entire superbike racing team. This Bollywood actor is none other than superstar Salman Khan's brother, Sohail Khan. The actor was recently in Dubai when it was announced that he has bought the D Superbike Racing Team, which competes in the UAE’s only superbike championship.

Actor Sohail Khan buys DSBK Racing team

Recently, the video after the purchase of the DSBK Racing Team by Sohail Khan was shared on Instagram by Reviewon and DSBK Racing on their page. It starts off with the host congratulating Sohail Khan on buying the DSBK Racing Team. Soon after this, he asks him to describe the feeling he is getting in just one word. To this, the actor says that he is “excited.”

Following this, the host asked Sohail Khan about the thoughts of his father on buying a whole superbike team. He added that, was he allowed to buy a bike when he was younger? To this, he replies that, like all Indian households, there was resistance from the family to buy a motorcycle. He elaborated that riders in our countries like India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, and others do not have civic sense.

As a result, parents in our countries do not let young boys buy bikes. Soon after this, the host asked Sohail Khan if his brother and superstar Salman Khan would be riding the bike as he used in the popular Bollywood movie song “O O Jaane Jaana.” To this, he mentions that his brother may arrive at the circuit and cheer for the team. He added that he might also take a joyride.

However, he added that he currently cannot ride bikes like he used to back in the day, as “stakes are too high for him right now.” For those who may not be aware, Salman Khan has been receiving a lot of death threats from the popular jailed gangster Lawrence Bishnoi.

Who would Sohail Khan have in his team from Bollywood?

The host, after some time, asked Sohail Khan if he had to make a team from Bollywood to race superbikes, who would he have? To this, the first name that he took was Shahid Kapoor. He then added that John Abraham and Tiger Shroff would also be a good fit, as they are superbike enthusiasts and would love to race bikes.

Following this question, Sohail Khan was asked if he could name the people from Bollywood who would not pass the superbike test. To this, he mentioned that the popular comedic actor Rajpal Yadav would not pass the test. He added that Nana Patekar would also not be able to ride a hyperbike. The actor jokingly stated that Nana Patekar would become hyper on the bikes.

DSBK Racing team

As mentioned above, DSBK Racing Team stands for D Superbike Racing Team, and it was founded by the veteran superbike racer Nasir Syed, who has an impressive 38 podium finishes. Syed is an NRI who used to hail from Karnataka. Along with him, the team has another co-founder, Abdul Samee. Now, whether they have fully sold the team to Sohail Khan or he has bought an ownership stake in the team is currently unknown. DSBK Racing Team competes in UAE’s only superbike championship.
