Actress Sonam Bajwa Buys Band New Land Rover Defender X-Dynamic HSE Worth Rs. 2 Crore
Sonam Bajwa is an Indian actress noted for her works in Hindi, Punjabi and Tamil movies. Last seen in the 2024 release Kudi Haryane Val Di, the actress has over 13 Million followers on Instagram. Sonam has now added a brand-new Land Rover Defender worth Rs. 2 crore to her garage. She took delivery of the SUV from Navnit Motors, the Land Rover in Mumbai. She is one of the highest-paid Punjabi actresses and has an estimated net worth of around 50 Crores.
Sonam has chosen Santorini Black as the colour for her vehicle. Photos of the actress taking delivery of her new buy were shared on Instagram by the dealer. In these, she can be seen completing the paperwork and receiving the SUV. There is even a photo of her in the driver's seat.
Land Rover sells three body types of the Defender in India- 90, 110 and 130. 90 is the Short Wheelbase (SWB) form, 110 is the Standard Wheelbase guise, and 130 is the Long Wheelbase (LWB) version. Sonam bought the 110 for herself.
This variant offers three engine options- the D350 diesel mild hybrid, P300 petrol and P450 petrol. Sonam reportedly chose the D350 mild-hybrid diesel. She seems to have stayed away from choosing the Adventure pack- a popular accessory pack among Defender buyers.
She has, however, specced the SUV with the Extended Black exterior pack. This adds more Black trims and elements to make the Defender look even more intimidating. The front and rear skidpans come finished in Narvik Black. The grille bar, letterings on the bonnet and the tailgate, and the bonnet chequer finisher are all finished in gloss Black.
Land Rover offers a choice of interior colourways in the Defender X-Dynamic HSE variant. The upholstery here can also be had in premium Windsor leather. The cabin colourway/ specs opted for by the actress remain unclear, as very little of these can be seen in the pictures. The feature and technology lists are quite expansive and the new Defender offers a fairly livable if not luxurious cabin.
Talking of the powertrain, the D350 iteration gets a 3.0 litre, 6-cylinder twin-turbocharged diesel engine (Ingenium) with Mild Hybrid (MHEV) technology that produces 345 hp. It comes mated to an automatic transmission and there is All Wheel Drive as well. The diesel Defender does 0-100 kph in 6.4 seconds and the top speed is around 191 kph.
