This Bollywood Actress Buys Her 4th New Car In 1 Year – A Mercedes Benz S-Class Worth 1.8 Crore

While some of them are true enthusiasts, others buy these cars just for their luxury features and comfort. Sonam Kapoor, a popular Bollywood actress, recently bought a Mercedes-Benz S-Class sedan.

If you have been following our website regularly, you would know that this is not the first expensive car in Sonam Kapoor’s collection. In fact, it is her fourth car in the past year. We’ll get to the other cars soon, but before that, let’s take a look at the recently purchased S-Class.
In the video, we see Sonam Kapoor walking out of the airport towards the parking lot. She walks up to the car, stops for pictures and videos, and then gets into her new car. The car seen here is a Mercedes-Benz S350d. The S-Class is finished in a white shade, and it looks extremely premium. Sonam Kapoor has opted for the diesel version of the sedan.
The S-Class comes with all premium features, including LED headlamps, LED DRLs, flush-fitting door handles, a panoramic sunroof, keyless entry, split LED tail lamps, Mercedes-Benz’s MBUX system, a digital instrument cluster, Nappa leather seats, electrically adjustable seats at the front and rear, multi-zone climate control, ADAS, a multi-function steering wheel, 64-color ambient lighting, soft-close doors, and many more.
The S350d, as mentioned above, is the diesel variant. This version of the S-Class is powered by a 3.0-liter, 6-cylinder, turbocharged engine that generates 362 Bhp and 500 Nm of peak torque. It is mated to an automatic transmission, with power being sent to all four wheels. The price for a brand-new S350d luxury sedan is Rs 1.79 crore (ex-showroom).
As mentioned earlier, it looks like Sonam Kapoor has been on a car-buying spree lately. She has bought four cars in the past year, and they are all expensive ones. Here is a list of the recently purchased luxury cars in Sonam’s garage.
Taycan S
This was the first fully electric car in Sonam Kapoor’s garage. The Taycan was officially launched in India in 2022. It is available in Taycan RWD, Taycan 4S, Taycan Turbo, and Taycan Turbo S variants. Sonam bought the top-end Turbo S variant, a dual-motor version that generates 761 PS and 1,050 Nm of peak torque. The electric supercar can travel over 500 km on a single charge.
Land Rover Defender
The next car in her garage is a Land Rover Defender. This legendary SUV, in its new avatar, has become popular among celebrities worldwide. She bought the 110 version of the SUV in Santorini Black. It is the 2.0-liter turbo petrol version that generates 300 PS and 400 Nm of peak torque.
Land Rover Range Rover
The third car on the list is the current-generation Range Rover. Sonam Kapoor bought the Autobiography variant, which is available with both petrol and diesel engine options. It is loaded with premium features, including a 35-speaker Meridian sound system with active noise cancellation for a serene experience. Other highlights include a 13.1-inch floating infotainment screen, a digital instrument cluster, a Head-Up Display, multi-zone climate control, a four-spoke steering wheel, a rear-seat entertainment screen, and much more.
