For any man, being able to buy the first car in his family is one of the biggest achievements he can have. Generally, when this happens, the delivery of the car takes place at the dealership. However, recently a video has gone viral online in which a young man surprised his father and his family with their first car in a very unique manner. He first gifted his father new shoes, and inside one of the shoes was the key to their new Skoda Kushaq. The reaction of the father and his family is now winning the internet.
Son surprises father with car keys in a shoe
This video of the man surprising his father on his birthday with new shoes and a brand-new Skoda Kushaq has been shared on Instagram by They Call Me HV on their page. It starts with the young man sitting next to his father on a sofa and giving him a shoebox. The father then opens the box and starts checking out the shoes he received.
However, after a moment, the son holds the shoe and points to something inside it. Following this, his father puts his hand inside and pulls out the key. He then stares at it for a second and, after realizing that it is the key to a new car, becomes extremely happy. He immediately hugs his son and says, “Mera Beta,” with pride and joy.
Family's first car
The entire family, including the father, son, mother, and daughter, comes out of their home to check out their new car, which is covered. Finally, they unveil the car by removing the cover, revealing a Skoda Kushaq sub-compact SUV finished in a classy shade of white.
After the unveiling, the family performs Hindu rituals. The father can also be seen breaking a coconut in front of the car for good luck. Following this, the son takes the seat behind the steering wheel, and they all go on the first drive of their family's first car.
Skoda Kushaq
As mentioned, the family has chosen a brand-new Skoda Kushaq sub-compact SUV. It is currently one of the most popular sub-compact SUVs in the market. It starts at Rs 8.25 lakh and goes all the way up to Rs 13.99 lakh. It comes in four variants, namely Classic, Signature, Signature+, and Prestige.
Skoda offers the Kushaq with features such as a 10-inch touchscreen infotainment system, two-spoke steering wheel, an 8-inch digital instrument cluster, a sunroof, keyless entry, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, front seat ventilation, powered front seats, and leather upholstery.
All four variants of the Skoda Kushaq come powered by the same 1.0-litre TSI petrol engine with 115 bhp of power and 178 Nm of torque. The Classic trim only comes with a manual transmission option, while all others come with an optional automatic transmission.
