India's 'Spice King' Buys BMW M4 Competition And Land Rover Defender 110 Within A Week
Dr. Viju Jacob from Kerala is a businessman. He is the chairman of Synthite Industries and is better known as the “Spice King.” He got this name because his business deals with spices and is one of the world’s largest spice-extracting firms. Just like most rich businessmen, Viju Jacob also has a taste for expensive cars. Within a week, he took delivery of a brand-new BMW M4 Competition and a Land Rover Defender SUV.
The videos of both these cars are available on his social media profile. The first video is of the BMW M4 Competition. The video shows Viju taking delivery of his new car. It looks like the delivery was arranged at his home or a resort. The car was brought to the location in a container.
Viju is seen doing the paperwork, and finally, after finishing the paperwork, the car is unveiled. He bought the M4 Competition in the beautiful Isle of Man Green Metallic shade. The car gets a green exterior and orange-colored interiors.
The M4 is a 2-door performance coupe, and there is no other way to describe it. It is powered by a 3.0-litre, twin-turbocharged straight-six petrol engine that generates 530 PS and 650 Nm of peak torque.
The engine is mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission, and power is sent to all four wheels. It can do 0–100 kmph in just 3.5 seconds. The price for a brand-new M4 is Rs 1.53 crore, ex-showroom. If you opt for extras, then the cost would go up even more.
The next delivery he took last week was of the Land Rover Defender. He bought a Land Rover Defender 110. However, his Defender looks different from the ones that we usually see on the road. It gets a bit of customization. The black-colored Defender gets red highlights, which give it a sporty appeal.
There is a red highlight on the front grille, bonnet vents are finished in red, and so are the roof and the tailgate. Even the spare wheel cover gets this shade. He bought the 3.0-litre diesel variant of the SUV. The Defender is a legendary SUV when it comes to off-roading.
The reason why the current-generation Defender became a hit among buyers is because it offers luxury features without compromising on off-road capabilities.

Ferrari Roma
Last year, Viju Jacob became the proud owner of a brand-new Ferrari Roma supercar. The car costs over Rs 3 crore and is powered by a 3.9-litre twin-turbo V8 engine. It generates 612 bhp and 760 Nm of peak torque.
Range Rover Sport
Another SUV in his collection is a 3.0-litre V6 diesel Range Rover Sport that generates about 255 bhp and 600 Nm of peak torque.
BMW M340i
Dr. Jacob also owns a BMW M340i sedan. This high-performance variant of the BMW 3 Series features a turbocharged inline-six engine that makes 382 bhp and 500 Nm of torque. It is capable of accelerating from 0 to 100 kmph in 4.4 seconds. He has taken delivery of this sedan finished in white.
BMW M2 Competition
It looks like he is a big-time BMW fan. Other than the newly bought M4, he also owns a BMW M2 Competition.
