The Skoda Slavia is one of the very underrated sedans currently on sale in India. It gets overshadowed by its cousin, the Volkswagen Virtus, and its rival, the Hyundai Verna. Now, bringing back the Slavia in front of everyone, a video has recently been shared online. The special part about this particular Skoda Slavia is that it has been stage 2 tuned, and it now makes an impressive 202 bhp of power, which is dyno-verified.
This video of the most powerful Skoda Slavia in India has been shared on YouTube by The Drivers Hub on their channel. It starts off with the host highlighting that this particular Skoda Slavia 1.5 TSI has been stage 2 tuned by the popular tuning company Code6. He then adds that it has been given a few basic performance mods but now makes a lot more power than a stock car.
Performance mods on this Slavia 1.5 TSI
Starting off with the list of mods, the host mentions that this sedan has been given a BMC drop-in high-performance air filter, a custom downpipe, and a stage 2 tune by Code6 tuners. He then adds that it makes over 170 bhp on the dyno, which translates to around 202 crank horsepower. As for the torque figure, it has increased to 339 Nm.
The stock Skoda Slavia 1.5 TSI makes 148 bhp and 250 Nm of torque. The host in the video mentions that currently the only way to tune a Skoda or Volkswagen 1.5 TSI engine is to swap the ECU with a Golf ECU imported from Europe. He adds that this particular Slavia also has the same imported ECU.
Other mods of this particular Skoda Slavia include a set of beautiful 10-spoke GTR alloy wheels finished in silver color. It also gets blacked-out Skoda and Slavia badging and a paint protection film. Apart from these, the car is mostly stock and has not been modified crazily.
What makes this Slavia 1.5 TSI special?

He adds that most other tuned Slavia and Virtus cars are DSG gearbox-equipped. As per the host, the DSG gearbox restricts the power and does not feel very engaging to drive.
