Biker Wheelies KTM, Crashes And Breaks Leg; Internet Says 'Satisfying' [Video]

Bikers attempting insane stunts on public roads is becoming an increasingly common sight in India. We also get to see videos of people honing their stunting skills on private and closed roads. And in some cases such as the one here, we can only make assumptions on if it is a public road or a closed patch where the stunts are being performed. This video stems from a Reddit post.
It seems to have been filmed and posted on Instagram by an influencer who creates content around motorcycles. In it, the guy can be seen riding what looks like a KTM Duke 125. He is riding on a road that's loosely populated. Suddenly, he tries to pop a wheelie. He got the front wheel airborne, but failed to stabilise, and soon crashed out.
Even though the crash wasn't huge or dramatic, the motorcycle landed on his right leg, visibly breaking it. In the scenes that follow, we get to see him in a wheelchair, and with a fractured leg. The crash seems to have done much damage.
This incident also serves as a wake-up call for people who think a good set of riding gear is an unnecessary investment and often refrain from using proper gear while riding. In the video, we can see that the rider isn't wearing a riding jacket, riding pants boots or even a proper set of gloves. Using proper knee guards, a good quality armoured riding jacket and gloves could have reduced the impact to some extent.
Another skill that a rider needs to master is to not make the motorcycle land on his body in the event of a fall or crash. This biker failed to do this and the same resulted in his fracture.
It looks like the video was first shared on the creator's Instagram profile, and then removed due to public outrage. Some smart soul downloaded and reposted it on Reddit where it was further criticized by many. People called it 'satisfying' to watch the 'irresponsible and unsafe stunt' ending up how it did. Most Redditors cringed at it and some even came up with extremely sharp remarks.
Most comments hint at how riders such as this and their unhealthy riding practices cast an impression of KTMs being unsafe, on the public. The Austrian brand's products have faced sharped criticism and called ' coffin machines' several times in the past, and most of them were backed by crashes and casualties caused by irresponsible riders.
"I feel bad for the bike. They are abused so much by these people."- commented a user. Another comment reads 'I want to buy Duke in future but its reputation is down the gutter by association to a certain illiterate civic senseless group of riders.' This looks like an accusation that many of us can relate to. Civic sense and road/traffic culture are never to be missed, and some people simply do not get this at all!
The most striking of replies to the above comment was 'It's high time we show the society that not every Ktm owner belongs to a certain "community" and that we can be responsible riders.'
Another Redditor showed up with some dark humour 'Sorry for saying this but, Dude just unlocked a new ride.'- referring to the wheelchair. 'Upgraded to four wheels'- reads another comment on the same line...
