The super popular Tamil movie star Ajith Kumar, whom most know as “Thala,” is not just an actor but also an accomplished race car driver. Before he became popular in the Tamil film industry, Ajith had a notable stint as a professional racer. He used to compete in high-profile racing events across India and abroad. Recently, reliving his past, the actor was seen driving an Audi at speeds upwards of 230 kmph.
Ajith Kumar’s Audi Ride
The video showing Ajith Kumar riding an Audi at extremely high speeds has been shared on X. It comes courtesy of Kannan Pandian. In this viral video, Ajith Kumar can be seen behind the wheel of an Audi. However, which exact model from the German carmaker was being driven by him is currently unknown.
However, we can note that Ajith Kumar was driving this vehicle at very high speeds. At one point, he even touched the 235 kmph mark. Our guess is that this video was shot at the German Autobahn, where in some sections of the highway, there are no speed limits. It can be seen that Ajith Kumar was fully focused on the road. However, at one point, he himself pointed at the digital speedometer.

For those who may not be aware, before becoming one of Tamil cinema’s biggest icons, Ajith Kumar, “Thala,” was involved in the racing world. His early career saw him participating in various racing events. These included the 2003 Formula Asia BMW Championships and the 2010 Formula 2 Championship.

The Tamil actor also recently made headlines for purchasing one of the most powerful Ferraris ever to be built. Ajith Kumar has bought himself a Ferrari SF90 Stradale, a plug-in hybrid supercar that boasts a twin-turbocharged 4.0-liter V8 engine combined with three electric motors.
This supercar produces a staggering 1,000 PS of power. Ajith reportedly purchased this car in Dubai, and although there are no videos of him driving the SF90 yet, there are a few images of him posing with the car. Apart from him, the Ambani family also owns this supercar.

Now, although he has bought himself the most powerful Ferrari, his true love is motorcycling. His motorcycle collection of high-end bikes includes models like the BMW R 1200 GS, BMW S 1000 RR, and Kawasaki Ninja ZX-14R. Also, back in 2022, when Ajith Kumar was on a biking trip to Ladakh, he even helped a stranded biker. The person reported that Ajith Kumar saw him on the side of the road, so he stopped and helped him fix his bike’s punctured tire.
