Tamil Nadu CM MK Stalin’s Convoy Has 15 Toyota Innova Crystas, 2 Fortuners, A Rs 1.5 crore Vellfire and a Defender 110
When it comes to convoys, the Chief Ministers of many states have very unique and extensive convoys. However, among these, the Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin’s security convoy is one of the most expensive ones. Recently, he was seen arriving at Kolathur in Chennai, and it was noted that his convoy had over 15 Toyota Innovas. It also included Fortuners, a new-generation Rs 1.5 crore Vellfire luxury MPV, and a Land Rover Defender 110.
This video of Tamil Nadu CM M.K. Stalin’s security convoy has been shared on Instagram by Santosh Kumar on their page. As mentioned, this video was taken when the convoy of the Tamil Nadu CM arrived at Kolathur in Chennai. All of the roads were blocked for the movement of Stalin’s security convoy.
Stalin’s Multi-Crore Security Convoy
We can note that first, there were a total of four black Innova Crysta MPVs. The first black Crysta was equipped with security cameras, which are used to keep surveillance on the road. Also, like the other black Innova Crystas in this lineup, it was equipped with extended running boards and an external cage.
These running boards and cages have been specially designed so that the commandos appointed for the security of M.K. Stalin can stand safely. As stated, there were four black Innova Crystas, and there was M.K. Stalin’s silver Land Rover Defender 110.
Then, there was another black Innova Crysta, which was being followed by one bulletproof Toyota Fortuner and a black new-generation Toyota Vellfire. We can note that there was another black Toyota Fortuner on the side, which was equipped with a network jammer.
Following this, we can note that there were a total of four more silver Innova Crystas, with a few of them equipped with the same external cages and extended running boards. Additionally, the convoy also had three white Innova Crystas and an older generation Innova as well. In total, there were 15 Toyota Innovas.
M.K. Stalin’s Land Rover Defender and Vellfire
As mentioned, M.K. Stalin himself gets driven around in a Land Rover Defender 110. This particular SUV is finished in the shade of Hakuba Silver. Apart from this silver Defender, M.K. Stalin also owns one finished in Fuji White color as well.
Both of these SUVs come equipped with a 3.0-litre diesel engine. It makes 296 bhp and 650 Nm of torque. As for the transmission, it comes mated to an 8-speed automatic gearbox.
Apart from the Defender, this particular convoy was also spotted with a Rs 1.5 crore Toyota Vellfire premium MPV. This particular Vellfire is the newest generation model, which was recently launched in India. It is currently one of the most luxurious MPVs available for purchase in India.
The new 2024 model comes equipped with a 14-inch touchscreen infotainment system, an overhead console for controlling various vehicle functions, multiple AC vents, and newly designed pull-down sun shades. It also gets premium lounge-like captain chairs with ventilation and heating, along with retractable tables.
It also gets a detachable control panel to adjust media, climate settings, and sunshades. Apart from these, the MPV also comes with features such as a heads-up display, a wireless charger, and an eight-way power-adjustable driver seat. The connected car suite offers 60+ functions.
The new Vellfire comes equipped with a 2.5-litre, four-cylinder petrol-hybrid engine. It makes 193 bhp and 240 Nm of torque. For transmission, it gets an e-CVT gearbox.
