Distracted Tata Altroz Rear-Ends Royal Enfield Rider: Bike Gets Sandwiched

Each and every day, thousands of distracted drivers get involved in major and minor accidents. Such drivers, in most cases, are distracted by their smartphones while driving, and as a result, they crash into other road users. Recently, another such video showing a Tata Altroz driver rear-ending a Royal Enfield Classic motorcycle rider has gone viral online.
The video showing the Royal Enfield rider getting sandwiched between two cars has been shared on YouTube by Bad Drivers of India. This particular clip is rear dashcam footage of a car that was shared with the creator from Bengaluru, Karnataka. It has been mentioned that this incident took place in Electronics City.
We can note that the car with the dashcam was being driven at a very normal speed on a road with medium traffic, soon after which a Royal Enfield Classic 500 rider came behind this particular car and was also riding normally. This rider was seen wearing a helmet and carefully following the car ahead. What happens next is that the car in front comes to a halt at a traffic signal.
During this time, the biker also noted this slowdown and carefully stopped behind the car. However, during this exact moment, a white Tata Altroz, which was just behind the Royal Enfield rider, did not note the stoppage and failed to stop his car. As a result, the Altroz then crashed into the bike.
It can be seen in the video that the Royal Enfield rider immediately fell off the bike. Thankfully, the bike did not fall on him. Rather, the bike was sandwiched between the Tata Altroz and the car ahead. Soon after this, the rider stood up in anger and was seen shouting at the Altroz driver, who was also seen apologizing while sitting inside the vehicle.
As per the video, the driver of the Tata Altroz was distracted as he was using his smartphone while driving the vehicle. Due to this, he most likely did not notice that there was a stoppage ahead and crashed into the bike. Thankfully, the bike rider did not suffer any injuries and stood up by himself.
Just a few months ago, another video from the same YouTube channel was shared online. In this video, a woman rider on a Honda Dio scooter was seen using her phone with her left hand while riding the scooter on a wet road. It was then noted that there was a traffic signal ahead where a Tata Ace just ahead of her had stopped.
Soon after this, when she noticed the vehicle ahead, she panicked and braked, and as a result, she lost control and fell on the road. As a result of this, another biker who was coming from behind also braked immediately, and as the road was wet, he too fell.
Following this, a number of other people on the road stopped and started helping the woman and the man who had fallen from their two-wheelers. Thankfully, no one was seriously injured.
