Brand New Tata Curvv’s Battery Dies At Time Of Delivery [Video]

Tata Motors, without a doubt, makes some of the safest cars in India, and it has a lot of fans in the country as well. However, due to the negligence of its dealerships, its name as a car brand is getting destroyed. We say this because, recently, a video has gone viral on the internet in which a brand-new Tata Curvv had to be pushed out of the dealership on the day of its delivery. It was noted that the battery of this vehicle died soon after delivery.
This video showing the delivery failure of a Tata Curvv has been shared on YouTube by Shivangi Rathore on her page. In this short reel, the vlogger shows her and her family’s experience of buying a Tata Curvv. It starts with her and all the family members reaching the Tata Motors dealership.
Following this she mentions that she had to wait for the delivery while her father and elder family members completed the formalities. After this, she shows their brand-new Tata Curvv sitting with a blue cover on it. Finally, after all the paperwork was done, they took off the covers and then cut a cake to celebrate.
Soon after this, the vlogger shows that their new Curvv was brought out of the showroom and parked in the parking lot, during which the car was turned off as her father and his elder brother were arguing over who would drive the vehicle home.
Unfortunately, after the decision was made and it was time to start the vehicle, it did not start. Soon after this, a few people from the dealership started pushing the vehicle out of the dealership towards the road.
After this, the video shows that they parked their new Curvv right next to another Tata Curvv and then jump-started the vehicle. Following this, the vlogger shows that her father and other family members sat in their new Curvv and drove it home.
Most likely, the dealership employees forgot to check the voltage on the battery of this vehicle during the PDI (Pre-Delivery Inspection), which is a very basic task to perform. However, due to this negligence, the vehicle had a breakdown even before it left the dealership.
It is also very likely that no one from the family that bought this vehicle was present during the PDI. A lot of times, alert car buyers will request to perform the PDI themselves to ensure that they are not handed over a vehicle with faults.
As stated above, it is a fact that Tata makes a lot of sturdy and safe cars, which now come with all the modern features. However, despite making good cars, the reputation of the brand is in jeopardy because of its careless dealerships.
Over the last few years, we have seen numerous cases in which Tata Motors dealerships have failed to perform PDIs, causing customer outrage. Many people believe that such careless and ignorant behavior of the brand’s dealerships is tarnishing its reputation in the country.
Just a while ago, a video was shared online in which a Tata Harrier buyer rejected a vehicle at the dealership that was about to be delivered to him. In this video, the alert owner had requested a company to help him in performing a PDI.
During the PDI, it was found that the vehicle had rusted bolts and washers, a dead battery, completely black engine oil despite having just 108 km on the odometer, condensation on the rear LED taillights, and many other faults.
