Tata Motors, one of the leading car manufacturers in India, recently launched India’s first electric SUV coupe, the Curvv.ev. People like the electric SUV for its unique styling and feature-loaded cabin. The Tata Curvv.ev looks futuristic, and this is probably the first time we have seen such a design in the affordable segment. Even before its launch, we heard people compare the rear design of the Curvv with the Lamborghini Urus. Here we have a video where the Curvv.ev is seen right next to a Lamborghini Urus SSUV on the road. Does the Curvv look like the Lamborghini? Let’s check it out.

The video has been shared by Curvv.ev fans on their Instagram page. In this video, we see a Curvv.ev from Punjab being driven behind a white-colored Lamborghini Urus SUV on a public road. The Curvv.ev driver was intentionally driving behind the Lamborghini and trying to grab the Urus driver’s attention. We can see the Curvv.ev driver blinking the headlights after driving behind the Urus.

In this video, we get to see the rear of both the Tata Curvv.ev and the Lamborghini Urus. At first glance, you do see a resemblance between both vehicles. They both have a sharp-looking rear design, coupe-like sloping roof, integrated roof spoiler, bulkier look from the rear, and ample road presence.

If you were to look at each element at the rear of the Tata Curvv.ev compared with the Lamborghini Urus, you would start noticing how different both vehicles are. The Lamborghini Urus is taller, wider, and longer than the Curvv.ev, and that itself makes a big difference in its overall stance.

When talking about the rear, the Lamborghini Urus looks sharper with aggressive character lines and functional air curtains on the rear fender. The Curvv.ev gets rounded edges, LED tail lamps with connecting LED lights running across the width of the car. The Curvv also misses the quad exhaust tips at the rear.

Another noticeable difference from the rear is the tires. Lamborghini offers big, fat tires with the Urus, while the Curvv.ev gets 18-inch units that are not too wide. The rear three-quarters of the Curvv.ev also look a bit odd or disproportionate because of this.

Curvv.ev next to Lamborghini Urus

The Curvv.ev driver was probably too excited to see the Urus, which is why he was driving too close to the super SUV. Towards the end, we can see the Lamborghini driver pulling his SUV to the side of the road so that the Curvv.ev can pass and the driver doesn’t create an inconvenience for other road users.

In short, the Curvv.ev does look like the Urus from some angles, but it would be wrong to call it an Indian copy of the Urus, as both vehicles have their own identity. The Curvv.ev is available in Creative, Accomplished, Accomplished+S, Empowered+, and Empowered+A variants.

The electric SUV offers two battery pack options: a 45 kWh battery pack and a 55 kWh battery pack, the largest ever installed in a Tata EV. The smaller battery pack is available in the Creative, Accomplished, and Accomplished+S variants. The larger battery pack is available in the Accomplished, Accomplished+S, Empowered+, and Empowered+A variants. The price for the Tata Curvv.EV starts at Rs 17.49 lakh (ex-showroom) and goes up to Rs 21.99 lakh (ex-showroom).
