India’s First Tata Curvv.EV In Yellow Gives Off Serious Lamborghini Urus Vibes [Video]

Tata Curvv is the latest product from the Indian car manufacturer, and it has caught buyers’ attention in the market for its futuristic design and SUV coupe styling. The SUV is available in both ICE and EV forms. The EV version was launched first, followed by the petrol and diesel versions. Deliveries for the SUVs have also started across the country. In many reviews and videos that have surfaced online, people have noted the Curvv’s resemblance to the Lamborghini Urus. Here, we have a video of a Curvv.ev finished in a yellow shade, which gives off the same vibes as the super SUV.
The video was shared by Filmfocuz on their YouTube channel. In this video, we see a Tata Curvv.ev parked outside a Tata dealership. It doesn’t seem like Tata officially offers this shade from the factory; it looks like the customer had the vehicle customized after taking delivery.
The car is from Kerala, one of the states that allows you to change the color of your vehicle and later get it endorsed on the RC. The customer either wrapped or completely repainted the electric SUV. The yellow shade on the Tata Curvv.ev is actually very similar to Lamborghini’s Giallo Inti (Yellow Sunburst) shade.
The rear of the SUV is where the resemblance is more evident. The blacked-out tail lamps with sleek LED tail lights and a connecting LED bar give the SUV a sporty look. The alloy wheels on the Curvv.ev remain the same as the stock versions, with aero inserts in them. It’s not just the exterior that the customer has customized; we also get a glimpse of the interior, which features all-black upholstery with yellow stitching and highlights.
Even the seat belts in this Curvv.ev are finished in yellow for a sporty appeal. We are not sure if the yellow highlights extend to the dashboard and steering wheel. The SUV does look good in this shade, and it definitely gives off a strong Lamborghini vibe. We’ve seen several clean customizations from Kerala, and this is yet another one from the state.
The Tata Curvv.ev was launched in the market a few months ago. The EV comes in five variants: Creative, Accomplished, Accomplished+, Empowered, and Empowered+. The 45 kWh battery pack is available with the Creative, Accomplished, and Accomplished+ variants. The long-range variant, or larger battery pack, is available in all variants except the base Creative variant.
Tata is offering the Curvv.ev with two battery options. The lower variants get a 45 kWh battery pack, while the larger variants come with a 55 kWh battery pack. It is, in fact, the biggest battery pack installed in any Tata EV to date. The SUV was launched at an exciting introductory price of ₹17.49 lakh, ex-showroom.
The 45 kWh battery pack variant has a claimed driving range of 502 km on a single charge, while the 55 kWh variant boasts a claimed range of 585 km. The 45 kWh version generates 148 Bhp and 215 Nm of peak torque, while the larger battery variant generates 165 Bhp and 215 Nm of peak torque.
This feature-loaded electric SUV comes equipped with ventilated front seats, a panoramic sunroof, automatic climate control, a touchscreen infotainment system, a fully digital instrument cluster, Tata’s new steering wheel with an illuminated logo, multi-mode regen, and more.
