Over the last few years, the work pressure on employees working for multinational companies and even small startups has increased exponentially. Due to this, employees now have to work around the clock to meet deadlines. As a result of this, people are now working from absolutely anywhere just to get the work done, and recently, a unique incident was shared online. In a short video clip, it was seen that a Tata Harrier driver was using his laptop while he was driving the car in bumper-to-bumper traffic.

The video showing this dangerous act has been shared on YouTube by Nikhil Rana on his channel. He stated that this video was submitted to him by one of the viewers from Kerala. In the short video, we can note that a Tata Harrier Black Edition driver was using his laptop while he was controlling the steering wheel of his SUV.

This clip was recorded by the rear dashcam of the vehicle that was driving in front of this Tata Harrier. We can note that this driver was not paying complete attention to the road, as his laptop was placed just above the steering wheel. The driver was using both of his hands to use the laptop, and intermittently, he was driving the SUV.

We can also note that there were pedestrians on the side of the road as well, and this driver was not paying attention to them either. At one point, he even had to suddenly brake to avoid hitting the vehicle in front. At the same time, this vehicle was also about to hit a female passerby on the left side. Thankfully, the woman was not hurt by the vehicle.

Do not use a laptop while driving

“Please do not use a laptop while driving.” This statement, which is self-explanatory, should not need further explanation, but people like this Tata Harrier driver make us reiterate this simple thing. As we all are aware, driving is a task that requires 100 percent attention from the driver.

However, despite this, people do not understand this simple thing and do things that can not only cause damage to them but to others as well. As mentioned in the video, people who are under constant pressure from their bosses can work extra at home. However, when driving on public roads, they should keep their work aside.

There are other people on the road as well, and they can get involved in an accident because of someone not paying attention to the road. So please make sure to keep laptops, mobile phones, and other distracting gadgets away while driving.

As stated above, due to increasing work pressure, employees are now being forced to work from wherever they are. A while ago, an image broke the internet in which a corporate woman employee was seen working on her laptop while she was sitting behind the rider on a Honda Activa. The image was taken by another person sitting inside a car while being stuck in Bangalore traffic.

Apart from these two, there have been many other instances where people have been seen working in places where they should not have been working. Presently, the only solution to avoid incidents due to this work pressure is to work in designated places—offices or home—because, to be honest, companies will not be reducing the work pressure on anyone anytime soon.
