Tata Harrier.ev has officially launched in the market, and deliveries for the electric SUV have also started. Recently, during the launch of the Adventure X variants, Tata had told us that Black and Dark Editions are some of the most popular shades for the Harrier and Safari.

Tata knows this, and that is probably the reason why they have a Stealth Edition for the Harrier.ev too. Here we have a video of a Harrier.ev Stealth Edition owner sharing his thoughts about the SUV and the reasons why he chose it over the Mahindra XEV 9E.

The video has been shared by Girish Khanna on his YouTube channel. In this video, the vlogger talks to the owner of a Tata Harrier.ev Stealth Edition. While many have bought the Harrier.ev already, only a few have got themselves the Stealth Edition.

The owner of this SUV is originally from Kerala but is a central government employee. He took delivery of the car from Ludhiana, Punjab. The owner mentions that he initially had plans to buy the all-new Mahindra XEV 9E but, when he went to book one near his place, they told him there was a waiting period of almost two months.

It was around this time that Tata had released the “Elephant Rock Climbing” video of the Harrier.ev. The advertisement grabbed his attention, and he started researching more about the car. He mentions that he was a person who never liked Tata cars.

When he went to check out the car for test drives, he couldn’t get one as the car was officially launched, but the deliveries had not started back then.

He spoke to a dealership in Chandigarh initially, and they told him they’d try to get the car delivered in a month, but they failed. Then he approached another dealer in Ludhiana, and it was there that he saw the Stealth Edition and immediately fell in love with it.

He was not completely on board with buying a Tata, but the day he checked the vehicle out in the Stealth Edition, every other option in his mind simply vanished. In the video, the owner can be heard comparing the car with luxury brands like BMW on multiple occasions.

He bought the top-end Empowered variant in RWD configuration. It offers every feature except the Boost mode and the AWD terrain modes. The car offers all features like Summon Mode, automatic parking, Level 2 ADAS, and so on.

He believes that if he were to buy a car from a foreign brand, he would have to spend almost double or triple the amount of what he spent on his Tata. He paid around Rs 30 lakh on-road for this SUV.

He is happy with the features, seating comfort, ride quality, and road presence. The shade gives an imposing look on the road and offers a decent amount of space on the inside for four passengers.

He mentions that he is not getting the claimed 627 km range from his SUV, but he is getting over 500 km. The owner says that all his friends who have got into his vehicle are surprised by the sheer number of features and the power it offers. He also believes that the XEV 9E’s design is too loud while the Harrier.ev gives it a butch SUV like look.
