Soon-To-Be-Launched Tata Harrier Petrol In A Detailed Walkaround [Video]

Tata Motors will soon be officially launching the all-new Harrier and Safari petrol models in India. Now, just before the official launch, dealerships across the country have started receiving these SUVs for their inventory, and recently, a video walkaround of the upcoming Harrier petrol has been shared online. In this video, the vlogger shows all the unique details of the upcoming Tata Harrier petrol.
This detailed video walkaround of the Tata Safari petrol has been shared on YouTube by M2S Car Info on their channel. It starts off with the vlogger mentioning that this particular Harrier Dark Edition in the video is the petrol version of this SUV. He then mentions that he is showing it from the dealership stockyard of Parth Tata Motors, located in Godhra, Gujarat.
After the introduction, the vlogger then starts showing the exterior design of the new Harrier petrol. From the outside, it can be noted that it looks like the standard Dark Edition version of the current Tata Harrier. However, upon closer look, he highlights that it is actually the Red Dark Edition of this SUV. It can be noted that all the logos on the side, front, and rear are finished in red color.
At the front, it gets the same connected LED DRLs, LED headlights, ADAS sensor, front parking sensors, camera on the windshield, and the overall same front fascia. On the side profile, it gets the same 19-inch gloss black alloy wheels, front and rear disc brakes finished in the sporty red shade. The rear of the Harrier petrol looks exactly the same as the standard model.
Next up, he moves to the interior of this SUV and adds that the overall black theme from the Dark Edition models has been carried ahead. However, being the Red Dark Edition, it gets red colored leatherette seat covers, red colored leatherette on grab rails, and dark chrome door handles. The biggest update of this cabin is the addition of a bigger 15-inch touchscreen infotainment system in the middle.
Apart from these, the petrol Harrier comes with the same features as the diesel model. It gets touch-based dual-zone automatic climate control, a 65W wireless charging pad, an electronic parking brake with auto hold, a panoramic sunroof, ventilated front seats, and a powered driver seat with memory function. It also gets red leatherette upholstery in the rear as well.
Following the complete exterior and interior walkaround, the vlogger then opens the bonnet of this SUV to reveal the new powertrain. He mentions that the Harrier gets the same 1.5-litre Hyperion TGDi turbo petrol engine. The host adds that the company has not revealed the power figures yet. However, it is expected to make 168 bhp of power and 280 Nm of torque.
As for the gearbox options, it is expected to get a 6-speed manual and a 7-speed DCT gearbox. It is believed that Tata Motors could be launching the Harrier petrol later this month or by early next year. Pricing of the Harrier petrol is expected to start in the range of Rs 15–16 lakh.
