The Internet has now become an integral part of our lives, and we scroll through hundreds and thousands of pieces of content every day. Some of them are funny, while others are informative. Here we have one such funny video that has recently surfaced online. In this video, a Tata Nexon EV that lost control has fallen into a river upside down. What makes this funny is the fact that even after falling upside down and being submerged in water, the car is still working.

The video has been shared by Roamer Rides on their Instagram page. In this video, we see a Tata Nexon EV inside a canal or river. The exact location of this accident is not known, but the vehicle in the video is registered in Delhi. The video humorously talks about the reliability of the Nexon EV.

The person recording the video mentions that the car had fallen into the river and was upside down. We can see the occupants of the Nexon EV being rescued from the car. However, what caught the attention of the person recording the video was that even after falling into the water and staying upside down, the car was still in working condition.

The video mentions that the front wheel of the Nexon EV was still working, which means the car was in Drive mode when it fell into the river and the power was still being sent to the wheels. The person made this video to show how reliable the Tata Nexon EV actually is. He claims that the car is still working even after it fell into the river.

What he seems to forget in this case is that the car seen here is an electric vehicle. Unlike ICE vehicles, electric vehicles do not have any kind of air intakes or engines that would stop once water gets inside. Electric vehicles have batteries and an electric motor. The batteries in most EVs are dust- and water-resistant. The electric motor is also built in such a manner that it can handle a fair bit of abuse from water. The supply of current from the batteries continues to power the motor, and that is how it lets the wheels spin even when under water.

While this is actually a funny video, the comment section is even funnier. We have comments like, “Submarine”, “Bro put Seaways ? (iykyk)”, “Khush h wo ki service centre wale lene aa rahe h”, “Road pe chalni chahiye waha chalti nahi hai ?, nehar me ulti padi hai chal rahi hai lekin 1 tyre chal raha hai, 2nd tyre nahi ?”. While the video talks about reliability, the comment section suggests otherwise.

We have seen several videos of Nexon EV breakdowns in the past. That is why people are leaving such sarcastic comments under the video. The owner and occupants of the car were actually lucky to have escaped the accident. We hope none of them suffered serious injuries.
