This Tata Nexon.EV Electric SUV Owner Drove 65,000 Kms in 1 Year [Video]

Tata is currently the leading electric vehicle brand in India. The Nexon.ev is still one of the best-selling EVs for Tata, and they also have several other models in their EV lineup. Since 2019, Tata has sold over 60,000 units of this EV across the country. Here, we have a video where a Nexon.ev facelift owner shares his experience with the vehicle. He bought the electric vehicle a year ago, and since then, he has covered over 65,000 km in it.
The video has been shared by Under the Stars* on their YouTube channel. In this video, the vlogger talks to a Nexon EV owner, Rejimon. He is a businessman and has been using the Nexon.ev for quite some time. Surprisingly, this is not his first EV. Before this, he bought a Nexon EV Prime, which he had driven for over 80,000 km. He currently owns two Nexon EVs and two Ola electric scooters at home. He sold off all his ICE vehicles and is relying on EVs for travel.
He starts by saying that he is completely happy with the EV and does not have any issues with the product. He has installed solar panels at home, which means he is not paying for charging his cars.
While he mentions that Tata cars have good build quality, he is not very happy with the lifetime warranty plan that Tata has announced. The battery warranty tenure comes down when the car is sold to a second owner, and this affects the resale value of the vehicle.
He mentions Tata should offer the same warranty for every owner so that people are confident in buying even a used Nexon EV or any other Tata EV.
He also adds that there are issues with some vehicles, but he feels people and social media often make a big deal out of it. Even a small issue is often exaggerated intentionally to demean the brand’s name.
The owner of the Nexon.ev mentions that he feels the reason for so many issues being reported in Tata cars is because Tata decided to build EVs but completely forgot to train their staff for these vehicles.
Many service centres do not have enough technicians to work on EVs. He mentioned that from his personal experience, EVs have been a good option and, over the years, he has saved a lot. If you are patient enough, then EVs might slowly grow on you.
He even talks about a person in his EV group who sold his luxury car and bought a Nexon EV because he liked the ride quality. He ends the video by mentioning that he is 100 percent happy with the Nexon.ev, and if anyone comes up to him asking for recommendations, he would suggest an EV, as the prices of the Nexon EV have also come down and the diesel version costs as much as the EV.
