Tata Nexon Gets Sandwiched Between 2 Marutis: Here's The Result

We all know how strong Tata Motors cars are, and we are also aware of how weak Maruti Suzuki cars are. Now, recently, showing the proof of both, a video was shared online. In this short clip, a Tata Nexon was seen sandwiched between two Maruti Suzuki cars — a Swift and a Ciaz. The result, you may ask? Well, you should see it for yourself.

The video showing a Tata Nexon sandwiched between a Maruti Suzuki Swift and a Ciaz was shared on Instagram by Kangra Explorer on their page. In this short, we can see a Maruti Suzuki Ciaz sedan with a completely destroyed rear end. The entire rear boot and bumper were damaged.

Soon after this, the video shows a Tata Nexon sub-compact SUV in the rear of this Ciaz. We can observe that only the front registration number plate of this SUV was bent. Apart from this, there was no damage to the Nexon’s front end. Neither the bumper nor the grille sustained any damage.

Following this, the video then shows a Maruti Suzuki Swift which was just behind this SUV. We can note that the entire front end of this hatchback was destroyed. The front bumper, bonnet, left headlight, and other plastic parts were damaged after it rear-ended the Tata Nexon. It appears that this incident took place in Delhi.

The Tata Nexon most likely got sandwiched between these Maruti Suzuki cars during a traffic stop. Generally, when a vehicle driving in the front brakes and the rear driver reacts slowly, such accidents take place. In this case, the sturdy build quality of the Nexon saved it from any serious damage on both the front and the rear.

The Tata Nexon, both old and new generation models, has been known for its build quality. They both have scored five-star safety ratings in both Global NCAP as well as Bharat NCAP. The new Nexon scored 32.22 for adult and 44.52 for child protection. As for the BNCAP scores, it scored 29.41 points out of 32 for adult occupant protection and 43.83 points out of 49 for child occupant protection.

Currently, the Tata Nexon is offered with a host of safety features. These include Anti-Lock Brakes (ABS), Electronic Brakeforce Distribution (EBD), Traction Control (TC), six airbags (dual frontal airbags, side head curtain airbags, and side head airbags), and ISOFIX child seat mounts.

Tata Nexon owner says he will buy another Nexon

Recently, a video became viral on the internet in which a Tata Nexon owner stated that he’ll buy another Nexon. In the short clip, a completely destroyed Tata Nexon was shown getting towed, following which the person recording this video introduced the owner of this particular SUV. He stated that his brother was driving this SUV when it crashed.

The video then shows that the entire front end of this SUV was destroyed, including the engine and all the other crucial components. As for the owner, he stated that this SUV saved the life of his brother, and because of this, he will be buying another Nexon. He stated that the vehicle was just one year old.
