Tata Nexon Airbags Deploy After Highway Suddenly Ends And Car Falls Into Huge Potholes! [Video]

Imagine you are driving on a national highway, and the speed of your vehicle is around 80–100 kmph. Now, what would happen if suddenly the highway ended without any warning and your vehicle jumped like a rocket ship launching from Earth? You'd be terrified, right? Well, this is exactly what recently happened with a family driving on a national highway in their Tata Nexon.
The video showing the dashcam footage of a missing road section, on which a Tata Nexon flew off and crashed, has been shared on X by Manali Diaries on their page. It starts off with the vehicle being driven at a speed of around 80–100 kmph. It can be seen that the highway was decent, and there were no signs of construction or any obstacles ahead.
Due to this, the driver of the Tata Nexon did not slow down. However, in just a second, the highway ended abruptly, and there was no road ahead. It can be seen that there was dirt mixed with concrete and crushed stones, along with a few massive potholes filled with water. What happened was that the vehicle was able to drive over a few bumps.
However, when a massive pothole filled with water appeared ahead, the front two wheels of the SUV went inside, and due to the speed it was carrying, it got launched into the air. Following this, it came back onto the road, and finally, after a few more bumps, the vehicle stopped on the side of the road.
As per the post, this particular incident took place on National Highway 49. It can be seen in the video that the front of the vehicle was heavily damaged due to the bumps. Meanwhile, on the inside, both the driver and the passenger airbags deployed as the impact was very severe.
Over the last few years, all of us have been hearing one bold statement from Union Minister of Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari — that Indian roads will become better than those of the United States of America. Now, after looking at the incident above and many others like it, the question that comes to everyone's mind is this: how will we get ahead of the US with such poor-quality roads?
Almost all citizens are currently infuriated because of similar statements from Nitin Gadkari. People have highlighted that, on one hand, Gadkari promises that the expressways and other roads in India are becoming world-class, and on the other hand, each and every day people are posting videos and photos of roads with craters like those on the moon, unmarked speed breakers, and other problems.
Whether these problems will reduce in the future or not is uncertain. This is because there are targets to build new roads every day, and to make sure that the work is done quickly, the quality is being compromised. Also, corruption is a huge factor behind the poor quality of infrastructure, and unfortunately, so far, there is no way of solving this problem.
