Tata Safari Storme SUV Jumps Divider And Crashes Into Truck: Live Video Footage
National highways allow car drivers to drive at a reasonably higher speed than they are allowed to drive on normal city roads. However, sometimes drivers can make mistakes and overspeed and lose control. This can then result in serious accidents. Recently, a video sharing one such dangerous accident has been shared on the internet. In this video, a Tata Safari Storme SUV was seen crossing the road by driving over the divider and crashing into a container truck.
This video of the accident involving a Tata Safari Storme and a container truck has been shared on YouTube by Prateek Singh on their channel. In this video, we can see that a car with a dashcam installed was being driven on the national highway connecting Nagpur and Varanasi. It was then noted that there was a container truck driving ahead of this car.
What happened next?
From the footage, we can note that this truck was at a distance ahead of this particular car. Following this, what happens is that we see a Tata Safari Storme coming from the wrong side and crashing into the container truck. What can also be observed is that this particular SUV had crossed the divider and managed to crash with the truck.
Aftermath of this accident
The result of this crash was that the entire front right of the Tata Safari Storme was severely damaged. The front bumper, grille, headlight, fender, and other parts of the front right section of the SUV were damaged. Also, we can see in the video that the front right wheel and all the plastic and metal parts of the Safari were scattered on the highway.
We can also see that there were parts of the truck’s front end on the road as well. The video also shows that the container truck was then parked on the side of the road. Meanwhile, the Tata Safari Storme was stranded in the right lane beside the divider. Thankfully, no one was injured in this accident.
What caused this accident?
From the video, it is hard to exactly tell what the cause of this particular accident was. However, it is being speculated that the Safari Storme was on a turn on the highway and the driver could not control the vehicle.
Generally, what happens is when a top-heavy vehicle or any vehicle is being driven very aggressively on a long turn, it becomes harder to control it and make the turn safely. In this case, as well, this seems to be the most probable cause of the accident.
How to drive on long turns?
While driving on a national highway or any road with a long turn, you have to always keep your speed in check. This is because, on turns, it becomes harder for the driver to maintain grip if the speed is high. So, before making a turn, make sure to reduce your speed to a manageable level.
Also, these types of accidents are more likely with top-heavy vehicles like SUVs, which have a lot more body roll on corners. So, make sure to drive carefully on such turns in SUVs, as they also have the risk of rolling over if driven at highway speeds on such corners.
