Tata's New TVC Shows How Punjabis Reacted To All-New Sierra

Tata shook the market with its all-new SUV, the Sierra. The company recently launched the new compact SUV, and media drives for the same were organised in Chandigarh. The Sierra is a nameplate that is close to the hearts of many SUV enthusiasts. It is because of this emotional connection that the Sierra has received an overwhelming response from buyers. Here, we have a new TVC from Tata that shows how people from Chandigarh reacted when they spotted the all-new Sierra in the flesh for the first time.


The video has been shared by Tata Motors on their YouTube channel. In this video, we see a brand-new Sierra, which was part of the media drive, parked in an open parking lot. The SUV seen here is finished in the Bengal Rouge Red shade.

The colour itself is quite attractive, and along with the unique design, it grabbed a lot of attention from people. Once they spotted the Sierra parked there, they started approaching the SUV and asking questions about it. They were genuinely excited to see the Sierra back in the market, as many of them might have owned one when they were younger.

There were men, women, and elderly people checking out the SUV. Their reactions and questions were recorded using a camera installed inside the car. They checked out the SUV from the outside, opened the tailgate, and were impressed with the wide opening. One of them even mentioned that it would make a good platform to watch a sunset or be used during a camping session.

People checking out the interiors were happy that it did not look dull from any angle. The cabin felt spacious and airy, which was further enhanced by the light-coloured interior theme. They checked out the rear window design, rear legroom, electrically adjustable front seats with memory function, and several other features.

We hear a woman sitting in the rear seat say that the seats are comfortable and offer ample legroom. We also see an elderly lady asking her husband to buy the Sierra. Young women in the group were particularly impressed with the large triple-screen display setup on the dashboard.

Many also appreciated the use of soft-touch materials in several areas of the cabin. The floating centre console and door pad design were also well received. A few people were also heard talking about the massive sunroof that the Sierra comes with.

One of them even starts the car and is surprised by how silent and smooth the engine sounds. The Tata Sierra comes with a brand-new 1.5-litre, four-cylinder turbocharged engine that generates 160 PS and 255 Nm of peak torque. It is available with a 6-speed automatic transmission only.

Towards the end of the video, we hear someone asking about the booking dates for the Sierra. Bookings have already begun, and deliveries are scheduled to start in January. The SUV has received an overwhelming response, with over 70,000 confirmed bookings within just 24 hours on the first day. Dealers across the country are welcoming the new Sierra in their own unique ways.
