However, the driver lost control and could not brake on time. As a result, the vehicle then rams into the wall on the other side of the road. As per the reports, this particular Tata Tigor was being driven by an underage driver.

Thankfully, there was no other vehicle coming from either direction at high speed. Because had there been a speeding vehicle, it would have crashed into the Tigor, and the accident could have been much worse. We can note that there was a Kia Carens that was being driven very slowly. Reportedly, no one was injured in this incident.

People are praising Tata's build quality

A number of netizens have appreciated the quality of Tata Motors and its cars. They have highlighted that the wall that has been broken by this Tigor is a thick brick and cement wall. And despite it breaking off, the vehicle looks in decent condition. There is some damage on the rear bumper, and the tailgate has been dented. However, what's surprising is that the paint of this vehicle has not come off.

The Tata Tigor is a very safe vehicle. In the Global NCAP crash tests, this sub-compact sedan has managed to score a four-star safety rating. In the adult occupant protection tests, the Tigor scored 12 out of 17 points. As for the child occupant protection tests, the Tigor scored 37.24 out of 49 points.

In terms of safety features, this sedan comes with electronic stability control, hill-start assist, a 360-degree camera, auto-folding wing mirrors, and a tyre pressure monitoring system. It also gets dual front airbags.

The Tata Tigor comes powered by a 1.2-litre engine that makes 84 bhp and 113 Nm of torque. Transmission options include a 5-speed manual gearbox and a 5-speed AMT gearbox. It also comes with a CNG powertrain as well. It makes 72 bhp and 95 Nm of torque. The CNG variant is also offered with five-speed manual and AMT gearbox options.
