Telugu Superstar Balakrishna Spends 7.75 Lakh To Buy Fancy Number For New Range Rover Luxury SUV
The super popular Telugu movie star and MLA of Andhra Pradesh, Nandamuri Balakrishna, whom we more commonly know as Ballya or NBK, recently bought himself a brand-new Range Rover Sport worth Rs 1.5 crore. Now, generally, when celebrities buy such expensive cars, all the paperwork is finished at the dealership. However, sometimes even the celebrities have to reach the transport department like common citizens. This time around, the Telugu star was seen at the RTO office for the registration of his new luxury SUV.
Nandamuri Balakrishna arrives at RTO office
The video showing Nandamuri Balakrishna at the RTO office has been shared on YouTube by TV5 News on their channel. In this short video, the Telugu superstar was seen arriving at the Khairatabad RTO Department office. He arrived in his newly bought Range Rover Sport and was accompanied by the RTO officials and police authorities.
He was seen going inside the office and greeting the RTO officials, after which he immediately sat on the chair where his picture was clicked, and he was then asked for his signature on the electronic signature pad and a few papers. The video then ends; however, most likely, he left after the completion and verification of all the documents.
Nandamuri Balakrishna’s Range Rover Sport
As mentioned, the actor has bought himself a brand-new Range Rover Sport luxury SUV. He has opted for the 3.0 diesel HSE variant, which has an ex-showroom price of Rs 1.45 crore. As for the color, the actor has opted for the classy Fuji White shade. Balakrishna has also paid Rs 7.75 lakh for the VIP registration number “TS09GF0001.”
The Range Rover Sport sits just below the Range Rover in the British luxury SUV manufacturer's line-up. It comes equipped with features such as sleek LED headlights, 21–23-inch alloy wheels, a massive 13.1-inch touchscreen infotainment screen with Pivi Pro software, and a digital instrument gauge cluster. It also comes with a 19-speaker, 800W Meridian music system.
Powering Nandamuri Balakrishna's Range Rover Sport is a 3.0-litre diesel engine, which makes 350 bhp and 700 Nm of torque. The SUV is also offered with a 3.0-litre petrol motor, which makes 400 bhp and 500 Nm of torque. Both engines come with 8-speed torque-converter automatic gearboxes, 4WD, and air suspension as standard.
NTR Jr. was also seen at this RTO office
This is not the first time that a popular celebrity has been seen at the Khairatabad, Hyderabad RTO office. Prior to Nandamuri Balakrishna, the super popular Telugu movie star NTR Jr. was also seen arriving for the documentation of his Mercedes-Maybach S580, worth Rs 2.7 crore. Along with this sedan, at the time, he also bought a Hyundai Ioniq 5 electric crossover SUV as well.
The S580 owned by NTR Jr. comes powered by a 4.0-litre bi-turbo V8 mild-hybrid petrol engine. Paired with a 9-speed automatic transmission, it produces 496 bhp of maximum power and 700 Nm of maximum torque. He also owns a Lamborghini Urus Pearl Capsule Edition, older-generation Range Rover Vogue, a previous-generation BMW 7 Series, a Porsche 718 Cayman, Mercedes-Benz GLS, and a Range Rover Velar.
