In India, when a new vehicle is bought by a family, generally people take it to a temple or perform rituals in their home to seek the blessings of God. However, there are people who now do not live in India but have still not forgotten their culture and perform these rituals in whichever country they are. Recently, a video showing how a Tesla Cybertruck electric pickup truck was welcomed with Hindu and Christian traditions has been shared online.

Tesla Cybertruck Hindu and Christian traditional welcome

This video, showing the Tesla Cybertruck going through both Hindu and Christian rituals, has been shared on Instagram by Sinoj Thomas on the page. In this short video, a brand-new Tesla Cybertruck was first seen getting welcomed with the Hindu procession. A woman in a black saree was first seen placing lemons under the wheels of this particular Cybertruck.

After which, a Hindu priest can be seen making a “Swastika” on the bonnet of this pickup truck, followed by a showering of flower petals. What happens next is that the same vehicle is seen at a different location, where a Pastor can be seen spraying holy water on all sides and the interior of the same Cybertruck.

A little while ago, a few images were shared online in which a Tesla Cybertruck, which was wrapped in a lovely deep blue color, was decorated with fresh flower garlands of different colors. These flowers were arranged at the front of the vehicle and on the bonnet as well. Also, there were a few lines of flowers on either side of this particular Cybertruck.

India's first Tesla Cybertruck

Just a couple of months ago, Lavji Daliya, a well-known diamond merchant, bought India's first Tesla Cybertruck. This particular vehicle was delivered in Surat, Gujarat. Currently, there are no other Cybertrucks in the country. As for the official launch of this unique spaceship-like electric truck, Tesla has not revealed if it has plans to bring it to India.

The Tesla Cybertruck in the international markets is priced at $79,990 for the base AWD variant and the more powerful “Cyberbeast” variant is priced at $99,990. What makes the Cybertruck unique is its distinct stainless steel stamped body panels with sharp edges and no curves.

It comes equipped with a 122.4 kWh battery pack. This battery powers the electric motors that generate 600 PS. The Cybertruck is available with single, dual, and triple motor setups. The dual and triple motor setups offer AWD, while the single motor version is an RWD SUV. The triple motor variant generates a maximum of 834 PS.

Tesla India inaugurated the Tesla Experience Centre in Mumbai (Bandra Kurla Complex), and the first car brought to the country by the brand is the Model Y EV SUV. It starts at Rs 59.89 lakh for the Rear-Wheel Drive and goes up to Rs 67.89 lakh for the Long Range Rear-Wheel Drive variant.

Hindu traditional welcome in freezing -2°C weather

Like the Tesla Cybertruck above, another Indian family was seen performing Hindu rituals outside of India. Now, what makes this particular instance more interesting is that the man who bought an Aprilia Tuareg 660 Adventure motorcycle performed its welcome rituals in -2°C weather in Germany.
