Tesla Cybertruck Becomes 'Baarat Car' In Indian Wedding [Video]

Back in the old days, baarats of Indian weddings used horses, on which the groom used to sit. However, as things have changed over the years, the wedding horse has been replaced as well. Today, people use decorated cars in which the groom sits. Now, generally, we see normal cars being used as baarat vehicles. But recently, we came across a Tesla Cybertruck that has been decorated as a baarat vehicle.
The images of this particular Tesla Cybertruck, decorated as a wedding vehicle, have been shared on Facebook. They come courtesy of Julyon JB on the Cybertruck Owners Only page. In this post, the Tesla electric pickup truck owner highlighted that his Cybertruck was decorated for an “amazing Indian wedding.”
In the image, it can be noted that the vehicle has been decorated with fresh flower garlands of different colors. These flowers have been arranged at the front of the vehicle and on the bonnet as well. Also, there are a few lines of flowers on either side of this particular Cybertruck.
Additionally, in the same post, the owner of this Cybertruck has shared a few more images of him wrapping his vehicle. He highlighted that it took him three days to fully wrap his EV pickup truck. As for the color, the owner has mentioned that it is finished in the shade of Frozen Ocean.
This is not the first time that a Tesla Cybertruck has been used for an Indian wedding’s baarat. There is another video that went viral on the internet featuring a different Tesla Cybertruck in a baarat. This particular Cybertruck was seen being used as a DJ carrier. In this short clip, the DJ was seen on the rear bed of a Cybertruck, playing popular Punjabi music with the help of his complete DJ setup.
Last year, on the occasion of the 78th Indian National Independence Day, a video was shared online. This video, at the time, went viral on the internet because the Cybertruck used in it was completely wrapped in a very aesthetic-looking Indian national flag. It was then driven around Dubai by the Kerala-based entrepreneur Iqbal Hatboor.
For those who may not be aware, the Tesla Cybertruck is the American EV giant’s first electric pickup truck. Its base AWD variant is priced at $79,990 (Rs 70 lakh approx.), and the more powerful “Cyberbeast” variant is priced at $99,990 (Rs 87 lakh). Additionally, this year, the company could be launching a base-spec rear-wheel-drive variant priced at $60,990 (Rs 62 lakh) in 2025.
The Tesla Cybertruck is offered in dual-motor and tri-motor variants. These deliver impressive performance figures, such as 0–100 km/h acceleration in 3.9 seconds for the dual-motor variant and 2.6 seconds for the Cyberbeast. The Cybertruck’s AWD variant offers a range of approximately 340 miles per charge, while the Cyberbeast provides around 320 miles. Optional extender battery packs further increase the range.
This particular electric pickup truck looks like an alien spaceship. It features stainless steel stamped body panels with sharp edges and no curves. As for the interior, it has a large 18.5-inch touchscreen dashboard, along with a 9.4-inch touchscreen for rear-seat passengers.
