Thief Steals Brand New Royal Enfield Classic 350 In Less Than 60 Seconds [Video]

Vehicle theft is a major issue not just in India but in many countries across the world. We have seen several videos in the past showing how fast thieves work. In most cases, thieves operate at night when there are fewer people around. However, here we have a video where a thief steals a brand-new Royal Enfield bike from a parking lot in just seconds.
The video has been shared by Trolls Official on their Instagram page. The incident was captured by a CCTV camera that was installed at the parking space. We know this happened in Uttar Pradesh, but there is no clue as to where exactly it took place.
In this video, we see a brand-new, current-generation Royal Enfield Classic 350 motorcycle parked in a parking lot. A man wearing a cap and mask approaches the bike. He is holding a tool in his hand. He pushes the tool into the keyhole of the bike and then turns it just like a regular key. Surprisingly, the bike unlocks, and we see the pilot lamps turn on in the video. The handle was unlocked, and within no time, the thief pushed the bike back and then started it. He was on his way out of the parking lot, riding the bike.
All this happened in just under 15 seconds. The comment section under this video has reactions from viewers. Some are sarcastic, while others are genuinely worried about safety. Some of the comments include: “Itni jaldi to main original key se bhi nahi khol pata” (I can’t unlock a bike this fast using an original key), “Practice makes perfect,” and “New fear unlocked ???”.
The video is a good example that shows how fast thieves operate and how aware they are of their surroundings. In this video, we see how effortlessly the thief unlocked a bike in broad daylight without even attracting attention from people nearby.
Thieves do not spend too much time on a particular vehicle, as the chances of them attracting attention from a passerby increase. If they can’t break into your vehicle in just seconds, they usually leave it and move on to the next one. In this video, the Royal Enfield motorcycle only had a handle lock, which made it an easy target.
If the owner had installed multiple safety locks on the bike, he could have easily prevented the theft. One of the easiest ways to stop such attempts is to install disc locks. These are small locks that are meant to be installed on the discs of bikes. These locks prevent the wheels from rotating. Compared to handle locks, they are slightly more difficult to break and would take more time. This means thieves are less likely to try stealing your vehicle, even if they want to.
The bike seen in the video looks brand new, as there was no registration plate at the front or rear. We really hope the owner has filed a complaint and manages to get his bike back soon.
