The Defender has been a huge success in markets including India. People see it as a symbol of wealth, power and influence. It has already reached the garages of many, including A-list celebrities, Bollywood divas and successful businessmen. Almost every other video of a brand-new Land Rover Defender getting delivered gets attention and racks up views online. Excitement peaked when a video showing three brothers taking delivery of three different Defenders on a single day went viral.

The brothers are also seen near these, dressed in White- making the moment more picture-perfect. Their friends and family can also be seen in the video. There's laughter, cheers, and a sheer sense of pride in the air.

As the video goes on, we see the vehicles getting unveiled. Towards the end of it, the brothers are seen posing with their SUVs, with warm smiles on their faces. The Defender 110 currently has an ex-showroom price of Rs 1.39 Crores in India. It has become significantly pricier than the vehicle it replaced.

This video, however, is from 2024. Back then, there were more variants available on the Defender. The details of the variants chosen by the family and the actual cost remain unknown. It might have been over 3 crores.

Thus, getting to see three of these getting delivered to the same family, on a single day, is rare. For these brothers, the moment isn't about showing off, but celebrating success together. All three Defenders wear 'UP 16' number plates. It denotes the Noida RTO.

The video seems to have struck a chord online. Netizens have been actively commenting on it. Most of those congratulate the brothers on the massive achievement. Many called it 'family goals'.

Land Rover launched the new Defender in India in 2020. In 2025, it got a major variant rejig and update- a move that further streamlined the Defender lineup. It continues to be offered in three body styles- 90, 110 and 130- in other words, the short wheelbase, standard wheelbase and long wheelbase.

The 2025 range gets minor upgrades inside the cabin. It gets 14-way heated/cooled electric seats, suede headliner and winged headrests, updated 'PiVi Pro' pack, more storage in the centre console, and captain seats for the second row. Plus, the V8 engine is now offered on lower variants (X-Dynamic HSE and X) as well. On the P425 variant, it produces 420bhp.

On the P525, the V8 makes 517bhp, and makes the vehicle go from 0 to 100 kph in 5.2 seconds. The P425 has a 0-100 kph time of 5.6 seconds. In addition to this, a 2.0-liter, 4-cylinder turbo petrol and 3.0-liter, 6-cylinder mild-hybrid engine are offered.

The OCTA Is More Extreme

Land Rover also sells a more extreme of the Defender- the OCTA. Is has a stronger focus on performance and off-road abilities. It has an ex-showroom price of 2.59 Cr. It is available just in the 110 body style with a notable more aggressive design.

Under its hood, it houses the BMW-sourced 4.4L twin-turbo V8 mild-hybrid engine which makes 635hp and 750Nm. With the off-road launch mode engaged, the torque spikes to 800 Nm! The engine comes mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission and 0-100 kph is achieved in just 3.8 seconds.
