Drunk Son Of MNS Politician Crashes Toyota Fortuner Into Woman Influencer's Car: Abuses On Camera [Video]
Drunk driving is extremely dangerous and is illegal almost everywhere around the world. One such video of a drunk driver has gone viral on the internet. The driver of a Toyota Fortuner, who was driving under the influence of alcohol, crashed into a woman social media influencer’s car and was even caught abusing the woman on camera. The driver was half-naked and was also the son of an MNS politician.
The video has been shared by Gallinews India on their YouTube channel. In this video report, we see a young man sitting inside the Toyota Fortuner arguing with the woman social media influencer in front of police officers. He is seen abusing her and even bragging about his political connections.
Later in the video report, the woman, Rajshree More, who was actually the victim, can be seen explaining the whole incident to the media. She mentions that the Toyota Fortuner driver had crashed into her car while she was on her way back home.
This happened not once, but twice. She didn’t stop him at first, as she realised that the driver was probably drunk. She approached cops on the road and explained the situation. They helped her and stopped the vehicle driven by the drunk person.
Upon stopping, she realised that the driver was half-naked, and they immediately started arguing about his irresponsible behaviour. During this argument, the Fortuner driver said that he was the son of an MNS politician and if she wanted compensation for the damage to her vehicle, she would have to go and ask Raj Thackeray.
The woman realised that he was the son of a politician only at that moment. In the video, we can see that the drunk driver was abusing the woman and even tried to physically assault her. However, the cops present at the location ensured that things didn’t escalate further.
The drunk driver has been identified as Rahil Sheikh, son of MNS's state vice president Javed Sheikh. An FIR has been lodged against Rahil, and he was arrested for negligent driving and outraging the modesty of a woman.
Apart from crashing into Rajshree’s car, three other innocent road users also narrowly escaped being crushed under the Toyota Fortuner driven by the drunk driver.
This is not the first time Rajshree More’s name has come up in the news. She had earlier created a video opposing the imposition of Marathi on non-native speakers. She said that instead of imposing the language, local Marathi people must be taught to work hard. The video is no longer available online. In the video, she can be heard saying that almost everyone recognises her car in the area and she questions whether Rahil crashed into her car intentionally or not.
After the incident went viral, MNS distanced itself from Rahil Sheikh. One of their leaders, Avinash Jadhav, said, “His actions are not supported by the MNS and the party demands police action against him.” Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Nirupam slammed the MNS and called it the "real face" of those who claim to be the protectors of Marathi culture.
Politics aside, never drive a vehicle under the influence of alcohol. Drunk people often have compromised senses and slower response times to obstacles on the road. This becomes a risk not only to themselves but also to other road users. People often become overconfident after drinking, which leads to such accidents.
