Toyota Fortuner With Spartan Body Kit Looks Butch And Muscular [Video]
The Toyota Fortuner is one of the most popular SUVs in India, and it is loved by almost every man and kid. Now, as it has been in the market since 2009, there have been numerous different generations and facelifts throughout the years. In 2025, what a lot of these old Fortuner owners are doing is getting their vehicles modified by either opting for a facelift or using aftermarket body kits. Recently, one such old Fortuner was given a custom “Spartan” kit, and it looks phenomenal.
This video, showing the Toyota Fortuner with the custom-made “Spartan” kit, has been shared on YouTube by Autorounders. For those who may not be aware, Autorounders is one of the most popular shops in India that takes on such custom projects. They are known for their high-quality paint jobs and for doing a lot of unique modifications on popular Indian cars like Fortuners, Innovas, and others.
Spartan kit for type 2 Fortuner
The owner of Autorounders, in this video, mentions that they received a type 2 Toyota Fortuner and the owner wanted something that looked like no other Fortuner on the road. As a result, he mentions that they suggested he opt for the Spartan kit. He explains that this particular kit was developed by Autorounders for the type 2 Fortuner, and they have done a lot of these Spartan kits at their shop.
Following the introduction, the owner of the shop starts giving a detailed walkaround of this particular Fortuner. He starts by stating that their Spartan kit comes with a completely brand-new front grille and an extremely aggressive front bumper. He highlights that they have painted the front grille and parts of the bumper in gloss black.
He then points out that the original color of the vehicle was white. However, as the owner got bored of seeing the same color, he said he wanted something very unique. The owner of the shop then highlights that they have painted the body of this Fortuner in satin matte black. He explains that they mix satin black and matte black together to get this unique satin matte look.
After this, he adds that the Spartan kit also gets a completely custom-made bonnet. He states that to make it even more unique, they have added gloss black details as well. Next up, he shows the side profile of this SUV and highlights the custom widebody fenders. The owner adds that they have extended the fenders and have kept the hardware exposed.
Moving ahead, he mentions that they generally suggest their customers get aftermarket alloy wheels when adding a Spartan kit. However, this particular owner did not want an aftermarket wheel setup, so he opted to get the factory alloy wheels painted in gloss black. The brake calipers have also been painted in bright red.
As for the rear, the owner highlights that the Spartan kit utilizes the original rear bumper. However, to make it look unique, they add a custom diffuser, which gives the SUV an aggressive look. He adds that there is no chrome on this vehicle and everything has been finished in either satin matte black or gloss black.
Interior modifications
The owner of the shop then shows the interior of this SUV. He mentions that the cabin has been finished in dark brown. It now gets custom leather upholstery and a black roof. They have also added a GR-Sport steering wheel, ambient lighting, custom 7D mats, and a few other unique touches.
