So far, for the Toyota Fortuner conversions, we have seen numerous unique aftermarket body kits. These include Legender kits, Lexus kits, Lamborghini Urus-inspired kits, and many others. However, now there is a new aftermarket body kit in town, and this one will shock you. Recently, a video has been shared online in which India's first two Toyota Fortuner Type 3 models converted into Toyota Land Cruiser LC300 has been shared online. Yes, you read that right!
Toyota Fortuner converted to LC300
This video, showing the Toyota Fortuner converted into the Rs 2.3 crore Land Cruiser LC300, has been shared on YouTube by Her Garage on her channel. It starts off with the host mentioning that the two Toyota LC300s parked behind her are not actually LC300s. Rather, they both are Type 3 Fortuners which have been converted to look like LC300s.
Soon after this, she introduces the owner of the company—Auto Daddy Customs—which has created these converted LC300s. She first asks him about the idea of changing the Fortuner to LC300 and the parts which have been changed to make them look as they are. To this, the owner replies that they wanted to create something which has not ever been done before on a Toyota Fortuner.
He highlighted that they first converted the Fortuner with a Lamborghini Urus-inspired body kit. However, this time around, their idea was to convert the Fortuner into a more high-end model from Toyota, and currently, that model is the LC300. So, for this reason, they have imported this aftermarket body kit and have fitted it on the Type 3 Toyota Fortuner.
As for the parts changed to make this Fortuner look like an LC300, he states that they have completely swapped the front end of the original Type 3 Fortuner. At the front, the complete grille, front bumper, LED headlights, and the front right and left fenders have been changed.
After this, the video shows the side profile of the vehicle, and the owner highlights that they have added massive 26+ inch chrome alloy wheels. The vlogger in the video mentions that they have also brought a white-colored converted LC300 to show that aftermarket alloy wheels are a must for this conversion.
Other modifications done on this Fortuner LC300 conversion
The owner highlights that they also added aftermarket LED taillights and a new rear bumper to this vehicle as well. As for the interior, the black vehicle has been given tan leather upholstery, hydro-dipped carbon fiber elements, and an LC300-styled steering wheel with carbon fiber. The owner added that they can do a lot more other modifications as well.
Pricing of this kit
Towards the end of the video, the host asks the owner about the pricing of this particular kit. To this, the owner replied that currently, the price of the conversion from Fortuner Type 3 to LC300 is Rs 3.5 lakh. However, over time, as the demand increases, they will be able to do the same for Rs 2 lakh.
The host also asked about the warranty on parts, to which the owner replied that the headlights are from Taiwan. They have a one-year warranty. Apart from this, he also highlighted that they will also import LC300 conversion kits for Type 1 and 2 Fortuners and also the Hilux.
