Toyota Fortuner Modified With Custom Spartan Kit Looks Aggressive [Video]
Over the last few years, we have seen hundreds of Toyota Fortuner conversions. Generally, these conversions are from type 1 to type 2, or type 2 to Lexus. In recent times, we have even seen type 1 or 2 conversions into type 4 and Legenders as well. However, recently, a video has been shared online in which a type 1 Fortuner has been converted into a Spartan. Yes, this is a custom body kit that has been specially designed by Autorounders, and they have created their third Fortuner Spartan model.
This video of the Toyota Fortuner Spartan conversion has been shared on YouTube by the official Autorounders channel. For those who may not know, Autorounders is a premium auto body shop that specializes in such old-to-new conversions. This time around, the owner of the shop introduces the latest project done by them.
Fortuner type 1 Conversion
He starts by stating that this particular type 1 Toyota Fortuner will be converted into the type 2 model with a Lexus kit. He then goes on to explain all the parts that will be changed for this conversion. The owner of the shop highlights that the entire front bumper, grille, bonnet, and fenders will be changed.
Following this, he moves to the rear and adds that they will also be changing the rear bumper. Additionally, all the headlights and taillights will be changed to aftermarket lights to add to the updated look. Moving on, he adds that the 17-inch alloy wheels will also be upgraded to 18-inch aftermarket alloys.
Twist in Modification
The video then shows the SUV being completely stripped down and fitted with new parts for the conversion. However, during this, the owner highlights that the client has changed his mind and now wants to convert this Fortuner into a Spartan. The owner then explains that they recently created a completely custom body kit for the type 1 Fortuner, which is called the Spartan kit.
He added that this particular kit is made in-house and can only be purchased through them. Following this, he explains that although they do not allow for such changes of work at such stages, as the Spartan kit also requires the type 1 Fortuner to be first converted to type 2, they agreed.
The owner of the shop then shows the Spartan kit for this particular Fortuner. After this, the video shows this particular SUV and its kit being prepared for paint. They can be seen completing the bodywork and then painting the entire car and kit with primer.
Finally, the vehicle then goes into the paint booth, where it gets painted professionally. After this, the vehicle goes for final assembly, and the owner then shows the finished product. He mentions that the car has come out exactly as they imagined it.
He mentions that this is the third Toyota Fortuner Spartan they have created so far. Additionally, there are three to four other Spartan Fortuners in progress. After this, he gives a walkaround of the car.
The owner of the shop first shows the front of this SUV, which gets a custom front grille, front bumper, and bonnet with a massive scoop. It also gets extended wheel arches with exposed hardware. He also mentions that the alloy wheels have been upgraded to add to the aggressive stance of this SUV.
Interior Modifications
As for the changes in the rear, the SUV gets custom skirting and a set of aftermarket LED taillights. It also gets a custom interior with dual-tone black and tan leather. The shop has also added a brand-new Toyota Innova Hycross steering wheel and has completely changed the appearance of the interior.
