Toyota Glanza Hits TVS Radeon 110cc Motorcycle: Here’s The Result [Video]

Accidents on Indian roads are common. Hundreds of such incidents happen everyday and only a few get reported. In most cases carelessness of either one of the parties is the cause of accident. With rise in number of accidents on road, people have started looking at cars that have sturdy build quality. There have been instances where occupants in a car escaped from major accidents only because of the build quality. Here we have a video where a Toyota Glaza crashed into a TVS Radeon commuter motorcycle. Here’s how the car looked like after the crash.

The video has been shared by Ride With RJ07 on his Instagram page. The video was posted couple of months ago and was recorded somewhere in Haryana. In this video, we see a Toyota Glanza hatchback on the road after an accident. The front of the hatchback is damaged badly and it looked like the car was involved in a serious crash at high speed.

The front bumper, bonnet, headlamps and grille are damaged. The front bumper in broken into pieces. When the vlogger was surprised when he came to know that this had happened after the car crashed into a TVS Radeon commuter motorcycle. We see the bike in the video too. When compared to the car, the damage on the bike looks extremely less.

It headlamp, handle bar of the bike absorbed the impact. We see several scratches on the plastic parts of the bike other than that everything else remains the same. It looks like the car had a head on collision with the bike. He hope, the biker and the driver and occupants in the car escaped the crash without any major injuries.

If you look at the video carefully, you would realise that the Toyota Glanza had absorbed the impact well. While the bonnet, bumper of the car look damaged, the pillars of the car are sturdy and have kept the cabin safe. Even the windshield of the hatchback does not have a crack on it. The Glanza seen here in the video is the pre-facelift version.

As we all know, Toyota Glanza is actually a rebadged version of the Maruti Suzuki Baleno hatchback. The comment section under the video is filled with comments talking about the build quality of the vehicle.

Some of the comments under this video are, “Toyota nhi he maruti he bhai”, “Tvs readon very strong” and so on. Most of them were praising the build quality of the motorcycle while others were blaming Maruti Suuzki and Toyota for the weak build quality.

Toyota Glanza is powered by the same engine as Baleno. It is available with a 1.2 litre, naturally aspirated petrol engine that generates 89 Bhp and 113 Nm of peak torque. The current version of the hatchback is available with a features like flaoting type infotainment system, 360 degree camera, HUD, automatic climate control, electrically adjustable and foldable ORVMs and so on.

The hatchback is available with a 5-speed manual and a AMT gearbox option. Price for Toyota Glanza now starts at Rs 6.86 lakh, ex-showroom and goes up till Rs 10 lakh, ex-showroom.
