India's Only Toyota Innova Crysta Rally Edition: This is IT [Video]
The Toyota Innova Crysta is, hands down, one of the most successful iterations of the Innova MPV in India. It is known for its amazing practicality, comfortable ride quality, and bulletproof reliability. Now, generally, when we think of the Innova Crysta, our mind immediately thinks of a family MPV that can be taken on long road trips. However, this particular Toyota Innova Crysta, which you are about to see, is the most extreme iteration you'll ever see. This particular Innova Crysta is the rally edition, which has been designed by Toyota to take on any terrain imaginable.
This video showing the Toyota Innova Crysta rally edition has been shared on YouTube by Vaibhav Motorworld on their channel. It starts off with the vlogger mentioning that this unique Innova Crysta has been brought to a dealership in Uttar Pradesh, and it is registered in Kerala. Following this, he mentions that it has been designed as a rally-spec model by Toyota itself.
Toyota Innova Hycross Rally Edition Walkaround
Following the introduction, the vlogger starts with the exterior walkaround of this Innova Crysta rally edition. He first shows the front end of this vehicle and mentions that it gets a similar front-end design as the standard model. It includes the same projector and halogen headlight setup and the same front grille.
The only changes on the front of this particular rally-spec model are the bonnet scoop and unique graphics. As part of this graphics kit, it gets Innova Crysta decals on the bonnet and additional red decals on the lower part of the front bumper. There is also chunky faux silver cladding on the lower portion.
Next up, the vlogger shows the side profile of this rally-spec Innova Crysta. It gets unique 17-inch steel wheels with all-terrain tyres. The front wheels are finished in red, while the rear ones are finished in black. Apart from these, the side profile also gets a massive Toyota logo along with red and black decals.
Finally, the vlogger shows the rear end of this Innova, and it looks exactly the same as the standard model. The only differences are the red and black decals and the massive Toyota lettering on the rear. Overall, from the outside, it looks very unique due to the addition of a lift kit.
Rally-Spec Interior
After showing the complete exterior of this MPV, the vlogger moves to the interior. It can be noted that the vehicle gets a stripped-out cabin. The original seats have been replaced with Sabelt bucket seats. What's even more interesting is that bucket seats have also been added to the rear as well. The vlogger mentions that it is a seven-seater Crysta, but it has been modified to accommodate only four seats.
Also, all of these bucket seats get four-point harnesses, which are generally only seen in true rally-spec vehicles or ones that compete in different motorsports. Most likely, each of these seats costs around ₹30,000-50,000. Apart from these, another major highlight of this interior is the full roll cage that has been placed inside.
It is finished in white and has been bolted to the monocoque chassis of this MPV. Now, whether this roll cage is Federation of Motorsports Club of India (FMSCI) approved or not has not been mentioned. This Innova Crysta rally-spec also gets a Sabelt removable steering wheel as well, and it costs approximately ₹20,000-30,000. The rest of the interior remains the same, and no modifications have been made to the powertrain of this vehicle.
