Toyota Innova Hycross With Aftermarket Body Kit And Red Interior Wants To Be A Maybach [Video]
Toyota Innova Hycross is a popular MPV in the Indian market and just like any Toyota, the Hycross has also caught buyers’ attention and it also has a long waiting period. In the last five years, we have seen people customise their old Innova and the Crystas. However, it looks like many new Hycross customers are also following the trend. Here we have a video where a Hycross exterior and interior has been customised to look premium.
The video has been shared by Autorounders on their YouTube channel. The video shows a stock Innova Hycross that has come to the workshop for customisations. The owner of the Hycross wanted to customise the Hycross in such a manner that it looks premium.
Customisations were made to the exterior and interior of the car. The stock headlamps on the Hycross were removed and replaced with imported aftermarket units. It is a triple projector LED unit. The front grille on this Hycross has been replaced with an aftermarket chrome grille. The grille is called a Maybach grille because it is inspired by the ultra-luxury SUV.
Apart from this, the Innova Hycross also gets a new set of fog lamps and LED DRLs on the bumper. This is different from the one that already comes with the headlamps. Coming to the side profile, the stock 18-inch wheels on this Hycross have been replaced with all-black 5-spoke units. The owner didn’t throw away the old wheels as he plans to use them on his older car.
Another change on the exterior is that it gets skirting on the side along with auto-folding footsteps, and skirting for both the front and rear bumper as well.
The tail lamps on this Innova Hycross have also been replaced with aftermarket units. It gets a jewel-like LED tail light design which gives it a premium finish. It gets a connected LED bar at the rear as well. On the inside, the customer wanted a luxury feel to the cabin. The stock interior shades looked too dark and made it look cumbersome.
The stock seat covers were all replaced with genuine Red Nappa leather upholstery. The same shades can be seen on the dashboard as well. The leather is perforated and it comes with the same design pattern as seen on the stock seats. The owner also opted for a dashcam and there are ambient lights integrated into the door handles. The car looks premium and the red shade gives it a sporty look too. The panoramic sunroof along with other features makes the cabin look premium.
Coming to the second row or captain seats, the occupants get tray tables and there is also an area to rest their feet. The fit and finish of the seat covers and the quality of materials used look top-notch. The video does mention that the seats were expensive as they are using original Nappa leather imported from Italy. It is definitely one of the coolest or maybe most unique-looking Hycrosses that we have in India at the moment.
