Man Spends Rs. 5.3 Lakh On Brand New Toyota Innova HyCross To Give It A Full Makeover

Some people love buying vehicles and then modifying them according to their taste. For these people, money is not a constraint, and as a result, they spend a lot of it to make sure that the vehicle is completely tailored to their likings. Recently, one such Toyota Innova Hycross owner shared a few images of him taking delivery of his completely customized MPV. He has highlighted that a total of Rs 5.3 lakh was spent on the customisations alone.
The owner has shared the images and delivery video of his custom Toyota Innova Hycross on a Facebook page. In the images, we can note that the vehicle has been modified from the outside, and the complete interior has been reupholstered as well. The owner has given a complete, detailed list of pricing of all the modifications done on this vehicle.
Starting off with the exterior modifications, the front gets a new Maybach-styled grille, which the owner has mentioned was chrome and priced at Rs 10,000. However, it was then blacked out along with the roof, DRL area, and the rear bumper, which cost around Rs 30,000. Next, he added that the DRLs were Rs 13,500, front skid plate Rs 6,000, and the connected taillamp was priced at Rs 35,000.
Other modifications on the outside include foglamp costing Rs 15,500, chrome parts Rs 3,000, cooling film and ceramic shield was Rs 12,000, and the automatic boot auto opening system was Rs 8,000. Additionally, the tyres and alloy wheels were Rs 85,000. He added that the alloy wheels’ paint was done for Rs 10,000, and the door guard and the rain guards were priced at Rs 4,000 and Rs 2,000, respectively.
Moving on to the modifications and pricing of the interior, the owner has mentioned that the stereo w 360 was priced at Rs 55,000, speakers Rs 30,000, and damping was Rs 15,000. Next up, he added that the roof of the vehicle has also been given damping material, and it cost Rs 20,000. Interior roof and pillars’ black wrapping was Rs 20,000, and the addition of 3D mats was Rs 10,500.
Apart from this, Rs 22,000 was spent to completely black out the interior. As for the genuine leather upholstery on the seats, it was done for Rs 40,000, and the seat customisation, including addition of bolstering, was Rs 25,000. He added that the interior sill plates cost Rs 4,500, puddle lamp Rs 3,000, and the interior LED lights were Rs 1,000.
Lastly, light and boot opening switches were Rs 2,700, steering wheel wrap was Rs 4,500, door pad and dash wrap Rs 12,000, and lastly, ambient lighting was Rs 14,000. The owner in the comments has also mentioned that all the modifications have been done with plug-and-play systems, and there have been no cuts made to the existing wiring of the vehicle. Also, the ambient lights have been added with complete new wiring from the battery.
