'Mafia-Spec' Toyota Innova Hycross With Vellfire-Style Captain Seats Blends Style With Comfort [Video]


A lot of people in India want to buy the Toyota Vellfire luxury MPV due to the first-class, airplane-like cabin that it has to offer. However, as the Vellfire costs more than a crore, naturally, a lot of people cannot buy it. So, in order to get similar comfort and luxury, people are now opting to customize their Toyota Innova Hycrosses and Crystas. Recently, a video of one such extremely modified Innova Hycross has been shared online.
The detailed video showing all the modifications done on this particular Toyota Innova Hycross has been shared on YouTube by Poona Motors Official on their channel. It starts off with a few of the staff from the dealership working on the disassembly of this MPV. It can be seen that the manager of the shop was assigning various tasks to the staff.
He highlights that they have applied sound damping on both sides of the doors and in the rear. The owner then mentions that the damping helps in improving the audio quality of the music system and also reduces the road noise that filters inside the cabin. Moving on, he then shows the Hycross-specific woofer and amplifier setup.
Following these in-progress shots, the video then shows the final result, and the owner of the shop elaborates on all the modifications done on this particular Innova Hycross. He starts with the exterior and firstly shows the front end. The owner highlights that they have added a brand-new Toyota GR Sport grille at the front, which gets a large honeycomb pattern.
It also gets Toyota lettering replacing the logo, and there are three LED amber lights, which add to the uniqueness. The owner then continues and mentions that they have added new Alphard-style LED DRLs as well, which offer a crystal-like design and also function as matrix turn indicators.
Coming to the main highlight of the front, the owner of the shop mentions that they have added custom LED headlights to this MPV. The original headlights were disassembled, and new LED projectors were added, and it was then resealed. He then shows the throw of these lights, which is very impressive. He also mentions that they have added three-colored fog lights as well.
Moving to the side profile, the presenter mentions that they have painted the company-fitted alloy wheels in gloss black. Additionally, they have added Hycross-branded door claddings and gloss black painted roof rails as well. Finally, he shows the rear of the vehicle, which has been given smoked Alphard-style LED taillights and a black rear diffuser.
After showing the complete exterior modifications, the owner then shows the interior of this vehicle. He highlights that they have removed the middle and rear row seats and have added Vellfire-like captain seats. Both of these seats have ventilation, massaging, and reclining features. Additionally, both front seatbacks have been given foldable tables as well.
Apart from these, this Hycross has also been given a Rolls-Royce-like starlight roof and Alcantara headliner. As for the seats and pillars, they have been wrapped in the same colored leather as the seats. Lastly the owner of the shop mentions that they have added a custom high-end audio setup in this MPV as well which comprises of a new Blaupunkt four components, a sub-woofer and an amplifier.
