1 Toyota Innova Pulls 3 Cars On Highway [Video]

When a car breaks down, we often park the car on the roadside and call for a flatbed or assistance. However, if you are stranded in a place where roadside assistance (RSA) is not available, the best way to move your car or take it to a nearby workshop is simply by towing it. A car towing another car is a common sight on Indian roads and highways. However, we have now come across another video where a Toyota Innova MPV is seen towing not one but three cars to a workshop on a busy highway.

The video has been shared by Harish Kumar on his Instagram page. The video was probably recorded by the user while he was passing through the highway. The exact location where this happened is not known, but we are sure it is somewhere in South India. The person recording the video was cruising in the rightmost lane when he spotted this interesting scene.

The video shows a Toyota Innova speeding in the leftmost lane of the highway. The Innova is moving faster than many other vehicles on the road. Just behind the Toyota Innova, we see a Hyundai i20. It initially looked like the Innova was towing the i20 to a nearby workshop, but things did not end there.

Behind the i20, there was a Maruti WagonR, and lastly, there was a Maruti Suzuki Zen Estilo hatchback. So, the Toyota Innova MPV was towing not one but three hatchbacks on a busy highway at the same time. All these vehicles were tied to each other using a chain. The Innova overtakes a truck from the left lane and later joins the rightmost lane.

The registration numbers on the hatchbacks were from Andhra Pradesh, so there is a high possibility that the video was recorded somewhere in this state. The comment section of this video is filled with praises for the Innova. Most of the comments mention the power and reliability of the Innova MPV, while others are asking people to save diesel cars as they make more sense.

Even with three cars tied behind it, the Toyota Innova was able to pull or tow the cars without any issue. It almost looked like a train on the road. We are not sure if these cars had broken down on the highway and were being taken to a nearby workshop or if these cars were scrapped by their previous owners.

The video may seem entertaining, but there are a few things that the Innova driver should have kept in mind while towing so many vehicles. As these cars are tied to each other using chains, there is a person sitting in the driver’s seat of each of these vehicles. Speeding with so many vehicles tied behind is not a good idea.

The chances of the chain breaking, or even any of the cars moving out of formation and flipping or causing a crash, are pretty high. This would create inconvenience not just for the Innova driver but for other road users on the highway.

In such situations, always stick to the left lane and give way to other vehicles. Also, use some sort of indication to let other users know that you are towing multiple vehicles. If possible, never attempt this stunt and always try to arrange a flatbed or a container truck when towing multiple vehicles, as this is extremely dangerous.
