Owner Seeks Blessings For Rs 10.5 Crore Rolls Royce Cullinan Through Traditional Rituals - Viral Images

The Cullinan is Rolls Royce's first-ever SUV offering. It enjoys immense acceptance globally. Even in India, we see many of the affluent adding this iconic luxury SUV to their garages. An interesting delivery of the Rolls Royce Cullinan Series II is now attracting eyeballs on social media. The pictures are from Bengaluru. In an Instagram post, the page Automobili Ardent India shared images of a Pandit (Hindu priest) performing puja on an Arctic White Rolls Royce Cullinan Series II on the occasion of delivery.
The description reads 'First we pray, then we ball.' The images show the luxury SUV being unveiled and then a pandit performing puja on it. In the Hindu culture, it is common for owners to get rituals done on their newly-bought vehicles. Even the priest seems to be an automotive fanatic and clicks a picture of the 10.5 Crore SUV after completing the rituals. The vehicle is then handed over to the new owner.
This Cullinan Series II seems to have been specced tastefully. The exterior wears Arctic White and its rides on huge polished wheels. There is a dual Mandarin Coachline. The SUV's interior gets an Armagnac finish and a four-seater configuration. Details of the owner of this Cullinan are unknown.
Rolls Royce launched the Series II Cullinan in India in September 2024. The facelifted SUV has an ex-showroom base price of Rs 10.50 crores. The Black Badge version is even more expensive, at Rs 12.50 Crores, ex-showroom. The global debut of these took place in May 2024.
Compared to its predecessor, the Cullinan Series II has had its price shoot up. The pre-facelift Cullinan used to have an ex-showroom price of 6.95 Cr, whereas the Black Badge had an ex-showroom price of 8.20 crore. This premium can be attributed to the design and technology improvements on the Series II.
The Cullinan (Black Badge) continues to rank as India's most expensive SUV. The Bentley Bentayga can be cited as the closest rival. It, however, has a significantly lower ex-showroom price. The deliveries of the new Cullinan began in late 2024.
In its styling, the Cullinan Serie II hosts minor tweaks compared to the pre-facelift model. It now gets slimmer headlamps with L-shaped LED DRLs (Daytime Running Lights) that extend downwards. The bumper has also been restyled. It now looks sportier and gets larger air dams. The grille also boasts a subtle restyling. The overall flair of the front fascia has been upped.
At the rear, the bumper has been restyled. It now gets a new stainless-steel skid plate. The SUV also rides on a new set of alloy wheels.
The cabin has more technologies and features. It is better laid-out than before, and packed with luxury. The dashboard now gets a full-width glass panel that runs along its expanse. This is similar to the one seen on the larger Phantom VIII. The addition elevates the experience inside. There is also a new display cabinet. It houses a detailed analogue clock and a miniaturised, illuminated Spirit of Ecstasy mascot.
The Series II Cullinan also gets the latest version of the manufacturer's Spirit infotainment system. It offers improved graphics and better touch response. Rolls Royce offers a high degree of personalisation on the Cullinan. The SUV even lets owners change the colour of the instrument cluster to match that of the exterior colourway.
The Cullinan Series II draws its juice from a 6.75-litre twin-turbocharged V12 engine that produces 571hp and 850Nm of torque. The Black Badge version, on the other hand, churns out 600hp and 900Nm. The engine comes mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission. The vehicle also features All Wheel Drive (AWD).
