India’s Ugliest Toyota Fortuner Is Here

People in India love to modify their cars and make them unique. Generally, these modifications are tasteful, but every once in a while, we come across a vehicle that may not be everyone’s cup of tea. While that is also okay to some extent, some people have downright made their cars ugly with aftermarket modifications as well. Recently, we came across one such Toyota Fortuner. Some could also say that this is probably the ugliest Toyota Fortuner in India.
These pictures of India’s ugliest Toyota Fortuner have been shared by TeamBHP. From the pictures, we can note that this particular Fortuner is a type 1 model, which was launched in India back in 2009. The biggest modification done on this Fortuner is at the front.
It gets a custom front grille, which appears to be inspired by the old Mahindra Scorpio and Thar. There are also silver eyebrow-like elements that wrap around this bulky three-slat grille. There is also a different silver skid plate on the lower front bumper, which has three openings.
Overall, the front fascia looks extremely ugly. Thankfully, no other modifications have been done on the front of this SUV. Moving on to the side, everything appears to be fine until the rear three-quarters. After the C-pillar, the silver abomination starts once again.
It can be noted that there is a weird silver fiber element that extends from the side to the rear windshield. Now, what exactly this has been added to make it look like is not clear. However, the one thing that is sure is that this looks extremely ugly. There is also an extended skid plate in the rear as well.
This above-shown Toyota Fortuner has not been modified by DC Designs. However, many people can mistake it for a DC-designed car. But it has to be noted that DC has also modified some Toyota Fortuners in the past as well, and one of them was also considered extremely ugly by many people.
A video of one such modified Toyota Fortuner from DC was shared online. This particular Fortuner featured a complete front fascia change. It was given a completely different front grille, which was a lot wider than the original one. It also received smaller headlights, which did not fit well.
The overall front-end design did not go well with the rest of the design. It was also given a complete blue leather interior. DC Designs added two lounge seats in the rear with reclining and massage functions.
Over the years, there have been many other DC Designs vehicles which have been considered cringe. Just a few months ago, Kerala MVD seized a Honda Civic, which many people considered ugly. Now, it was not seized for being ugly; rather, it was seized due to non-compliance with traffic laws. The car was also taken as it was equipped with a ton of aftermarket modifications, which are also illegal.
