The World's RAREST Suzuki Jimny Is A REAL 6X6! [Video]

We have seen a lot of different types of modified Maruti Suzuki Jimnys in India. However, recently we came across a Jimny from Britain which has been modified in a way that makes it a one-off unit in this entire world. Now you may be wondering, what is so special about this particular Jimny? Well, the answer is that it has been converted into a 6X6 Jimny. Yes, you heard that right. What's also important to note is that it has passed through a lot of stringent checks in Britain to become road legal.
This video showing the most unique and one-off Suzuki Jimny 6X6 has been shared on YouTube by Carwow on their channel. In this video, the host Matt Watson highlights that this particular Jimny is not your average off-road-ready Jimny. Rather, it has been given a third axle which is fully functional. Following this explanation, he starts the detailed walkaround of this SUV.
The host starts at the front of this Jimny 6X6 and mentions that from the front, it looks like the standard model. However, the shop which has created this unique SUV has painted the front grille and the bumper in gloss black. It has also painted the lower skid plate in the same grey color as the body to tie in the overall vehicle together.
The rest of the vehicle looks the same, with standard projector headlights and fog lights and headlight washers. Moving on, he shows the side profile of the vehicle and mentions that all the claddings and the side turn indicator have been painted in gloss black. Apart from these, the ORVMs have been painted in body color.
Finally, he moves to the rear side of the vehicle and shows the third additional axle of this SUV. He states that to fit this third axle, the shop had to chop off a donor Jimny’s rear end and then carefully fabricate it. They first had to add the additional chassis and then add the rear axle and finally merge the outer body.
He explained that the shop, while doing this conversion, had to document each and everything so that the vehicle could pass the mandatory inspection. The host also stated that this vehicle has been thoroughly checked and has been given a specific kit car registration in Britain, and it is fully road legal.
The host then shows the rear end of this SUV and mentions that it has been given a truck bed with proper off-road liner to protect it in all weather conditions. There is also a rear support roll bar which looks similar to that of the Mercedes-Benz G63 6X6.
Following the exterior walkaround, the host then shows the interior of this Jimny 6X6. He states that the shop has given it premium genuine leather upholstery with diamond quilting on the seats. Also, the same leather has been used on the grab handles and centre console. However, he highlights that the fit and finish is not the best. Apart from these, the interior feels the same as the standard model.
