V-Guard Owner Arrives In Mercedes GLS, Buys 3 Crore Lexus LM 350h (Video)

The Lexus LM is finding places in many celebrity garages and those of the affluent. In recent times, we have seen many Bollywood stars purchase the MPV. Now, Mithun Chittilappilly, Managing Director of V-Guard Industries, has added the luxurious Lexus LM 350H to his fleet, showcasing his love for high-end cars. The ex-showroom price is 2.6 Crore. In Kerala, the on-road price will cross 3 crores.

The delivery event took place at the state-of-the-art Lexus showroom in Kochi, and was filmed and shared by the showroom’s management on social media. It shows Mithun and his wife arriving at the dealership in a Black Mercedes Benz GLS, for taking delivery of the new LM. They are seen interacting with the showroom staff and celebrating the purchase by cutting a cake.

The couple then takes the wrap off their new LM. It wears the Sonic Titanium exterior colourway. Exterior highlights like the tall stance, elegant large grille, sleek headlamps, large glasshouse, sliding rear doors, and good-looking rear are all shown in the video. It also gives a quick look at the cabin. Lexus offers two cabin colourways- Solis White and Black. Mithun has chosen the latter for his vehicle.

His penchant for luxurious vehicles aligns perfectly with the LM 350H’s luxury proposition. The cabin has features such as foldable tables, heated armrests, USB charging ports, wireless chargers, reading lights, a dual sunroof, HVAC touch controls, umbrella storage, a mini fridge, and a 23-speaker audio system. Additionally, it also boasts a massive 48-inch screen for passenger entertainment, for added comfort.

The LM 350H is available in both 4-seater (Ultra Luxury) and 7-seater (VIP) configurations. The 4-seater is tailored for ultimate privacy and comfort, with a cabin that resembles a private lounge. A retractable partition separates the passenger and driver’s cabin, ensuring ample privacy and comfort. It is the 4-seater that is preferred by most celebrities. It would thus suit the needs of the V-Guard owner, who is a frequent business traveller. The 7-seater, on the other hand, is used by five-star hotels to ferry their most esteemed guests.

Under the hood, the LM 350H is powered by a 2.5-litre 4-cylinder hybrid petrol engine mated to an E-CVT gearbox. This powertrain is capable of producing a combined output of 250 Bhp and 239 Nm of torque. The petrol engine alone makes 190 Bhp and 242 Nm. The vehicle gets two powerful electric motors as well. The front unit is larger and churns out 180 Bhp and 270 Nm. Output of the rear motor stands at 52 Bhp and 121 Nm. The MPV also comes with an AWD system.
