When it comes to the billionaires who have lived the most extravagant lifestyle in India, the name of United Breweries (Kingfisher) owner Vijay Mallya comes to the top. The now fugitive billionaire was known as the “King of Good Times,” and this name was given to him because of the parties he organised, the lavish homes that he owned, and the luxury cars that he was driven around in. Recently, a few images showing Vijay Mallya’s old Bentley Flying Spur and the Mercedes-Benz S-Class have been shared online.

These images of Vijay Mallya's ultra-luxury cars from back in the day have been shared on Instagram by Manish R Jain on their page. As per the post, these images are from November 2006, when the billionaire used to stay in Mumbai. He used these luxury cars to travel around the city of dreams. For those who may not be aware, he had the famous Kingfisher Villa on Nepean Sea Road in Mumbai.

In the images, we can note that his two cars, the Mercedes-Benz S-Class from the W220 generation, were finished in a unique red color. It had the VIP registration number “900,” and along with it, there was a “Karnataka State” crest on the front as well. In addition to this S-Class, his red-colored Bentley Flying Spur was also parked right in front of the Gateway of India.

This particular luxury sedan had the VIP registration number “9,” and it also had the same “Karnataka State” crest on the front. Most likely, it was the only Bentley Flying Spur at the time in India which was finished in the shade of red. Generally, owners of such expensive luxury cars opted for simple colors like black, white, silver, or grey.

As stated, the Mercedes-Benz S-Class from the W220 generation was one of the most sought-after luxury sedans back in the day. Most billionaires and millionaires bought this sedan. It came powered by a 3.2-litre, six-cylinder diesel engine named OM613. This turbocharged diesel motor was capable of producing 197 bhp and 470 Nm of torque.

Coming to the Bentley Flying Spur, this ultra-opulent sedan came powered by a massive 6.0-litre V12 engine. This motor generated 616 bhp and 800 Nm of torque. Also, it came equipped with an 8-speed automatic transmission, and the power was sent to all four wheels with the help of its AWD system.

The above-shown red Mercedes-Benz S-Class was one of the numerous S-Class’ which the billionaire owned in India. Recently, one of his most popular cars, the S600 V12, was seen on the roads of Bangalore, Karnataka. This particular sedan was finished in the shade of a very unique color of deep gold.

Its main highlight was that it came equipped with a V12. Most of the S-Class models that were sold in India came equipped with V6 and V8 engines. However, there were only a few that opted for the biggest offering of the V12 engine. Vijay Mallya’s S600 comes powered by the massive 5.5-litre V12 engine. This behemoth engine also came with twin turbochargers. This motor is capable of producing 510 bhp and an impressive 830 Nm of torque. Additionally, this sedan came with an electronically limited top speed of 250 kmph. It can do the sprint from 0–100 km/h in just 4.6 seconds.
