VinFast showcased its two new products, the VF6 and VF7, at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025. VinFast is serious about India, and they plan to launch their electric vehicles in the country soon. VinFast will officially debut in the Indian market sometime during the festive season this year. One of the products that VinFast had on display at the pavilion was the VF3. It is a mini EV capable of competing with the MG Comet and Tata Tiago EV. Here, we have a video that shows what the VF3 is all about.

The video has been shared by Not A Pro Drayber on their YouTube channel. In this video, the presenter talks about the exterior, interior, and features of the VF3. He also drives the VF3 to see how it actually feels on the road. The VF3 is a very small electric vehicle. It is a mini EV manufactured by the Vietnamese EV brand.

The VF3 is 1,679 mm wide, 1,652 mm tall, and 3,190 mm long. The mini EV offers a ground clearance of 191 mm, and the wheelbase is 2,075 mm. It gets a very boxy design with SUV-like elements. The front grille is a gloss black unit with V-shaped design elements on it. The VinFast logo can be seen at the center, with chrome appliqués extending toward the headlamps.

The headlamps are projector units with halogen turn indicators on top. The bumper is partially finished in body color. The lower part of the bumper is finished in a black shade. As we move to the side, you see thick black claddings, manual ORVMs, steel rims, and so on. The VF3 gets a floating roof design with blacked-out A, B, and C pillars.

The door handles are finished in black, and at the rear, we get rectangular tail lamps with a gloss black appliqué connecting them. A chrome element, as seen at the front, is visible here as well. The charging port is on the fender, and it supports both AC and DC fast charging. It uses an 18.64 kWh battery pack, which is capable of offering a claimed driving range of 210 km. VinFast is also offering a battery subscription model to its customers.

The bonnet of the car doesn’t have a hinge; it has to be removed from the car completely to access the motor and other components. The electric motor in the VF3 generates 42 PS and 110 Nm of peak torque. It has a top speed of 100 km/h, which it can only achieve if the SOC (State of Charge) is above 50 percent. The power is sent to the rear wheels.

On the inside, the VF3 offers a very basic cabin with hard plastic everywhere. The car does not offer a dedicated instrument cluster. The 10-inch screen does the job of both the infotainment system and instrument cluster.

The car does not offer a tilt or telescopic steering wheel. It gets fabric seats, AC, a manually dimming IRVM, several cubby holders, a stalk-type gear selector, power windows, and so on. As this is a small electric car, the turning radius of the VF3 is pretty small, making it great for city usage.

We are not sure if VinFast will launch the VF3 in India. They definitely have plans to open a manufacturing facility in Tamil Nadu. If they launch the VF3 at a competitive price, it can definitely be a strong rival to the MG Comet and possibly to the Tata Tiago EV.
