Road rage incidents have become a common occurrence on the internet. Apart from road rage cases, we also come across videos where people are often attacked by burglars on highways and expressways. In some cases, these acts are committed by miscreants to extort money, while in others, people are attacked by goons. One such incident was recently reported from Rajasthan. A village chief, or Sarpanch, was attacked by a group of goons in broad daylight while he was travelling in his car. The whole incident looked like an action scene from a Bollywood movie.

The video has been shared by NDTV on their YouTube channel. Many other media outlets have also shared the same. According to the report, the incident happened in Rajasthan’s Jhunjhunu district. The Sarpanch of Kakoda village, Sandeep Daila, and his companion were travelling in his Maruti Brezza when they were suddenly surrounded by a group of miscreants in a Mahindra Bolero and pickups. This occurred near Barasia College in Surajgarh.

The attackers, travelling in the Mahindra Bolero and pickups, suddenly surrounded their vehicle and started attacking them. In the video, we can clearly see that the Brezza driver was doing his best to escape from the spot, but the attackers had planned this and left no space for the Brezza to move.

The goons got out of the car and started attacking the vehicle. They smashed the windshield, bonnet, and windows using metal rods and pipes. We also see them destroy the headlamps and bumper of the SUV. It was not just one person—multiple individuals were seen attacking the vehicle.

The vehicles and the goons created an atmosphere of fear within seconds. Towards the end of the video, we see the goons forcefully opening the door of the car and attacking the individual sitting in the co-passenger seat. Once again, metal rods were used in the attack.

We also hear the siren of a police vehicle arriving at the spot. Once the attackers saw the police vehicle, they fled the scene. According to the reports currently available, Sandeep Daila and his companion, Devi Singh Ola, escaped the attack without any serious injuries. After the goons left, the Sarpanch and his companion were taken to a nearby hospital for treatment. A spectator who was present during the attack managed to record a video of the entire incident on his mobile phone.

While the police have already started an investigation, they believe that the attack seen in the video could have been the result of a personal rivalry. The forensic team has collected evidence from the scene. Police have identified some suspects, and raids are underway.

Such incidents actually show how dangerous roads can be, and we believe that if the cops had not arrived at the right time, the village chief and his companion might have been seriously injured.

If you ever find yourself in a road rage situation or an incident like this, the first thing to do is to call the police. Never get out of the vehicle or try to reason with the other party, as it might escalate and worsen the situation.
