Virat Kohli Buys Two Luxury MPVs: Toyota Vellfire And Kia Carnival [Video]

Indian cricketer Virat Kohli was recently in the news after he declared his retirement from the Test format of cricket last week. He is one of the most influential figures in Indian cricket. Apart from his performance on the ground, Virat Kohli is also known for his love of cars. He used to own several expensive performance and exotic cars. Slowly, his taste shifted from performance to comfort, and now he owns several SUVs. Virat Kohli has recently added a couple of luxury MPVs to his collection. One of them is a Toyota Vellfire and the other is the current-generation Kia Carnival.
The video has been shared by Cars For You on their YouTube channel. In this video, the vlogger mentions that the Indian cricketer, along with his wife and Bollywood actor Anushka Sharma, has been spotted with their all-new MPV in Mumbai on several occasions.
The vlogger starts with the Toyota Vellfire MPV. It is one of the most popular MPVs among celebrities in India. The Toyota Vellfire gets an imposing look at the front because of the large grille and sleek headlamps. On the side, the Vellfire gets a kink on the lower window line, resembling the design of a thunderbolt. The pillars are all blacked out, and there are chrome garnishes as well. It comes with 19-inch dual-tone alloy wheels, and the rear has LED tail lamps with a connecting LED bar. The design is boxy, as expected from an MPV.
It is a premium MPV with features like a fully digital instrument cluster, ADAS features, a 360-degree camera, ventilated and heated seats, an electrically adjustable steering wheel, and more.
The car gets electric window curtains for both second- and third-row passengers. In the rear seats, there are two captain seats, roof-mounted entertainment, and both seats have electric adjustments and a reclining function. There is a split glass roof that helps make the cabin feel more airy.
The Toyota Vellfire is powered by a 2.5-litre, 4-cylinder petrol engine, paired with a strong hybrid system. It generates around 193 PS and 240 Nm of peak torque. The engine is mated to an e-CVT gearbox. The video mentions that Virat Kohli has bought the more expensive Executive Lounge version, which costs around Rs 1.32 crore, ex-showroom.
The other car in Virat’s collection is the Kia Carnival. The first-generation Carnival was a hit among buyers, and last year, the new generation of this MPV was launched with more features. The new Kia Carnival was launched at a price of Rs 64 lakh, ex-showroom in India, which was almost double the price compared to the last-generation model.
However, even the new-generation model is doing well for the brand. It is a luxury MPV with features like 12.3-inch curved displays, a 4-spoke steering wheel, dual sunroofs, three-zone climate control, an 11-inch head-up display, a premium 12-speaker system from Bose, a 12-way powered driver’s seat, electrically adjustable rear seats, heated and ventilated seats, ADAS, and more.
The Kia Carnival also comes with safety features like 8 airbags, rear disc brakes, ESC, Hill Assist Control, a tyre pressure monitor, and front, rear, and side parking sensors, as well as a 360-degree camera.
The Kia Carnival is powered by the same 2.2-litre turbocharged diesel engine that generates 193 PS and 441 Nm of peak torque. The engine is mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission.
