Builder In 2 Crore Land Rover Defender Threatens Traffic Cops: SUV Seized, Arrested! [Video]

A number of wealthy people believe that just because they have a lot of money and drive around in expensive cars, they are above the law. Recently, another case of one such builder from Chhatrapati Sambhaji Nagar has been shared online. This particular businessman was seen hurling abuses at police officers while they were on duty on the road. He was arguing that they had stopped him for no reason. As a result of his hooliganism, he was arrested, and his Land Rover Defender, worth Rs 2 crore, was also seized.
The video showing the builder sitting in his Land Rover Defender and hurling abuses at the police officers has been shared on Instagram by News Arena India on their channel. In this short clip, the arrogant builder, named Kunal Bakliwal, was seen sitting in the driver’s seat of his Rs 2 crore Defender.
We can note that he was speaking very rudely to the police officers and was also speaking with someone on his phone. In the video, he can be heard abusing the police officers, who were speaking in a mannered way. Unfortunately, despite this, the builder was seen asking the police officer to talk to someone on the phone.
During this conversation, we can also hear him stating that he can get them suspended within two hours. Following this, he was also seen threatening the police officers, saying he would beat them and call the media.
As per the reports, the police authorities were doing their duty on the road and were catching traffic rule violators. However, during this, Kunal Bakliwal came in his Land Rover Defender and started honking loudly right behind the police personnel, following which he was asked to come out of his vehicle.
But rather than coming out of his SUV, he started abusing and threatening police officials. He highlighted that he is a very important man and asked them if they knew him. Also, as seen in the video, he was asking police officers to talk to someone powerful on the phone.
He was also seen and heard saying that the police officers were not performing their duty. Bakliwal even stated that they get their salaries from taxpayers’ money, so they should listen to the public. Lastly, even after many attempts, he did not come out of his SUV.
To set an example, the police authorities quickly arrested Kunal Bakliwal. He was booked under Bhartiya Nyaya Sanhita Section 132 – use of criminal force or assault against a public servant performing duty, Section 352 – intentional insult with intent to prevent a breach of peace, and also Section 351(2) – criminal intimidation. He was also booked under Sections 100(2), 177, and 119(2) of the Indian Motor Vehicles Act, 1988.
A video showing the builder sitting right next to his Rs 2 crore Land Rover Defender has also been shared online. He was seen sitting with his face fully covered. Commenting on the arrest, Police Commissioner Pravin Pawar stated, “No abuse or threats to public servants, especially police personnel, will be tolerated. In this case, we will set an example that will act as a deterrent to people who consider themselves above the law.”
