Indian Farmer Drives To Land Rover Showroom In A Tractor: Buys A Defender [Video]

The car culture in India has grown over the years. We have seen people buying expensive cars and SUVs and using them on a daily basis. While farming is done by many in India, only a few manage to make a profit, and most of them try not to show off their wealth. However, things are slowly changing, and we have started seeing many young-generation farmers updating themselves with new tech and methods in farming and earning money.
Here we have a video where one such wealthy farmer from the outskirts of Bengaluru. He was seen arriving at a Land Rover dealership in a tractor to take delivery of his new Defender.
The video has been shared by Manju Som on his Instagram page. The video starts with an aerial shot of a Bengaluru mansion surrounded by farmland, with a couple of vehicles parked inside the house.
We can see a Fortuner, a couple of Toyota Innova Crystas, and a Mahindra Thar in the porch. The farmer walks out of his house and gets onto a tractor that was parked in his porch. He chose the tractor instead of the SUVs. While he drove the tractor, his family members followed him in a Toyota Fortuner and other SUVs.
The farmer drove to the Land Rover dealership in Bengaluru and entered the showroom with his family. He is welcomed by the dealership staff. Once the paperwork is completed, the family moves to the delivery area, where their brand-new Defender is kept covered under a cloth.
The car is then unveiled by the family, and we even see the dealership staff felicitating an elderly gentleman, probably the farmer’s father, in a traditional manner. After this, the family poses for pictures and videos with the car, and finally, the car is driven out of the dealership.
The customer or the farmer has opted for the Defender 110 SUV. The Land Rover Defender has been extremely popular among buyers in India and abroad. Many popular celebrities and businessmen have bought the Defender SUV.
